Just for fun.. What would it take?

Would Dak and a 1 get it done?

Maybe Dak, Tyron, and a 1?

    Dak and 2 1sts?

Three 1st’s and maybe a 2nd. I doubt a team would want Dak with that looming contract....or Zeke for that matter.

It is going to take a lot of picks and I can see quite a few teams in that sweepstakes.

Just wow Cincinnati with a high number of guys. Of the (over the top) list I'm about to include only Zack Martin has performed at a high level year in year out. So we really aren't losing much when you think about it.
    Trade....

    Zack Martin.
    LVE.
    Randy Gregory.
    Noah Brown
    Conner Williams
    Trysten Hill
    Joe Jackson
    Xavier Woods
    Cedric Wilson
    Dalton Schultz
And throw in a 3rd in the 2021 draft if needed.

Then draft WR Laviska Shenault Jr. with the second of our first round picks. And in the second we draft a replacement for Z.Martin. After that we sign 6' 5" 246 pound WR Kevin Benjamin to a five year deal to be our starting TE.

Can you imagine having Burrow, Shenault, Zeke and Benjamin as our starters for the next five years!

    Dynasty.

I don’t foresee Oakland lending us their RB Doug Martin to get a QB :lmao:

Yeah I caught that a little late. I used to work with a guy named Doug Martin. That's why its stuck in my head.

I think that pick is pretty much untouchable.

Dak is not signed so you can’t include him

On a tag he would have to agree to sign a deal

therefore including him in any trade scenario is off the table

I would try to trade up to 5 with Miami and get Tua if he checks out medically

reality is that if Tua has been healthy there would be a debate going on right now as to who should be #1 pick

I would love Tua in Dallas. Especially since with a coach that has a west coast background.

Cinn needs a QB badly, they are not going to trade away their pick. Burrow will be a Bengal

    1st/2nd 20
    1st/3rd 21
    Gallup

Trade Dak using tag to another team to recoup at least 2nd and 3rd
    Resign Cooper and Jones

    Doesn't sound too bad :)

but Cincy would never do it.

Well I believe the Rams traded away 2 1s, 1 2nd and 1 3rd to move from 15 to 1 to get Goff and that was 4 years ago so it will be a lot more than that due to inflation.

    I would do it.

Losing Dak would save us some money to work with in FA and we'd be getting a QB that looks like the next Aaron Rodgers.

Cincy is not serious about winning football games anyways.

I would too - and not look back. The guy throws such a catch-able ball.

Picture the Cowboys without a starting quarterback, say Dak decided he was going to pursue a career in dance! Dallas had the first pick in the draft with Burrow sitting there. What would you want? Lets say Matt Stafford and two firsts, would that do it for you?

If I was the Cinci GM and I truly believed Borrow was going to be our QB for the next 15 years then there is nothing the Cowboys could offer me to trade away that pick. Because the best pick the Cowboys have is a 17th. It would take a team like the Dolphins to get me to trade the pick.

I think CIN won't trade the pick. They'll entertain offers but I just can't fathom seeing teams trading multiple #1's and #2's to move up.

Not an indictment on Burrows at all, but you just can't gut drafts like that unless you're in win now mode and you're not in win now mode if you're having to find a QB.

This guy has improved a lot since last year. McShay last night that in the 20 years he has been doing this, he has never seen a kid improve this much in 1 year. Had him as 4th rounder this year to being the 1st pick in the draft. I like Dak and hope he becomes an elite qb, but Burrow is very tempting.

    Cincy wouldn't trade with us.

Not sure how unloading 3 first round picks on them makes them better since those picks are likely going to be in the bottom half of the draft.

Call Cincinnati next year. I think they will picking first again. They have the worst offensive line in the NFL and they might have the worst coaching staff.

Probably take Dak, two 1st round picks and a 2nd.

Have to get Dak to sign his franchise tender in order to trade him though.
