HE'D CUT SOMEBODY!

Whenever Jimmy wanted to shake things up, he'd fire an underachiever. I think it is time to cut somebody loose and get the rest of the team's attention.
Here is a list of possibilities:

- Bobby Carpenter
- Jason Hatcher (has Bowen moved ahead of him?)
- Roy Williams (probably can't cut him because of injury - injury settlement?)
- Brad Johnson (my mom is available to replace him)
- Flozell Adams (I know, in my dreams)

Other suggestions?

#1 Adam Jones
#2 Tank Johnson

I know. bummer. Another Jerry Jones mistake. His biggest weakness is giving aging players who have been good players fat contracts.

Can you guys stop asking what would Jimmy do? This is so weak. Jimmy is not the coach and he is not coming back so what he would or wouldn't do is a joke.

IMO, the NFL is a whole lot different than when Jimmy was roaming the sidelines for us. You've got the cap, we've had expansion and there are players who get paid millions in guaranteed money and start to act like a lot of NBA players who don't give 100% all the time. I think a larger number of guys are just not willing to kill themselves for a coach or a team. It's sad, but it's what it is.

What is the success rate in the NFL after "players only" meetings? I think this team is long overdue for one.

Jimmy would go to Miami tank his legacy then hit the boat for a weekend of fishing

Jimmy would have cut either Carp or Tony Curtis last week after the missed blocks that got McBriar hurt.

Underachievers: Spears, Canty, Tank

Just awful: Brad (could have had 6 picks on Sunday), Crayton, the entire secondary.

OK lets live in the present. How does little Bill down in NE get his team to blow out the Broncos 41 - 7 on Monday night without Tom Brady at QB or Laurence Maroney at RB and Delta O'Neal at CB? The guy is up 20-0 at half time, gets the ball to start the half and comes out in a hurry up offense throwing. Even better, the bookie coach is up 27 - 0 with 2 minutes left in the 3rd and he's still throwing and players are going out of bounds to stop the clock after they convert. Even better than that, with 7 minutes left in the 4th he's still throwing out of a no huddle up 34 - 7. Doing this crap right after Rodney Harrison gets hurt during the Broncos offensive drive prior. How does he get them to become this evil and not even care about their health when they have obviously won the game? By the way, the over under was at 48 points. The bookies got the push and get to keep their juice. The best part? Jay Cutler before the half goes off because of his hand. You know what the over/under was for the 2nd half? 21 points, hahahahha!. You'd take that right? Knowing the Pats were up 20 -0 and Cutler would be out? Guess what, he comes back in the 2nd half. Well 28 points get scored afterwards for the over on with players on the Pats going out of bounds to stop the clock. Unreal, just couldn't believe the BS football I saw! Didn't lose any money but was hanging with 2 guys that did, one friend broke even on the push for 48 and the other lost taking the under at 21. Glad I don't bet on this trash because a lot of cloak and dagger crap goes on in these games. My point is, whether you put money on the games or just like to watch for fun, none of these games come out the way people believe them too and it is just an emotional swing because of the gambling involved. Believe me, if the powers that be would not allow the gambling things would be alot different in this league. More consistent. The problem is, the powers that be created the rules to this game and they taylored them to make as much money as possible. Drive yourselves nuts on the soap opera that is the NFL and the Cowboys, Pats and Favre are at the fore front of it.

Now that he's got RW11 he'd cut T.O. Well he would've done that along time ago come to think of it.

Jimmy would get in an ego battle with Jerry and quit, proving that The Cowboys cant win without him...and he'd be wrong........ then he'd go to Miami to prove how he can do it again with another team and ,,,once again he'd be wrong......so then he would retire and turn down other coaching gigs so he wouldn't have to tarnish his legacy any more

Who cares what Jimmy did in Miami, he won TWO (some would say 3) Lombardi's for the DALLAS COWBOYS.

I wouldn't quite say "hate", but there sure is a lot of apathy and ingratitude for a real Cowboys coach, one who did what it took to WIN.

Parcells was from the same school, he just never fielded teams as dominant, and he lived on his reputation for decades after he shot his wad. Parcells not only did not win jack for the Cowboys, he was and will always be a Giant.
