if we didn't win it this year...?

Do you think that, since Romo has played so stellar up to this point and displayed the pro bowl level type of skills that you need to be a playoff team, he (Parcells) would come back next year to give it another try?

A LOT of people say that, ultimately, it comes down to your quarterback. I can't say that I disagree. I've learned the importance of the position over my years. There once was a time where the term "bus driver" didn't bother me so much. But now that we have a commander-in-chief at the helm ....

Well, you get my point.

If you were Parcells (hypothetically speaking of course), would having Romo as your starter compell you to come back for another year?

I know that Bill is starting to get up there in age, but c'mon.

I still think he's got a few years left in him if he's got the desire. He could use a little conditioning around the waist line, but put him on a treadmill and he's good to go if you ask me. :)

You know the fans, and Jerry, are going to want him after some of this years' accomplishments.

Does he come back for one last year?

Whad'ya think?

I think BP will be here as long as his health holds up, and players like ROmo, and all the other young guys on our squad, continue to show that they are learning what he teaches them

Parcells will come back, after seeing what Romo has done, if Romo carries us to the playoffs and gets us a victory or two, BP will just imagine what Romo will be able to do after a full off-season and being able to start the entire season!!!

Romo has made BP's mind up(IMO) BP will be back because of romo

I think as of right now, yes.

Subject to change, of course, and by the minute....

What would lead to a no-return would be a SB win OR a monumental crumble. The former would signify there was nothing left to prove - another season would be anti-climactic, and the latter would be beyond discouraging.

But yeah, if he's having what passes for fun in a Parcells World again, he'll be back, I reckon.

Oh, you just know that he's loving the scenario that he's made for himself with Romo - refreshing, I'm sure.

I dont think BP would retire if he won the super bowl. BP coaches because that's all he knows and he loves it. The one thing he has been missing is a qb and now he has one with the defense to compliment. He will return because next season he can add a better o-line and maybe improve the defense even more through the draft and FA. BP will coach another two years if his health says yes. How old was marv levy when he left? Bill Walsh? Joe Gibbs? Dick Vermeil?

I just dont think you can walk away from something you love to do no matter how miserable he gets over losses! The question will be if he will allow T.O. to come back and will he put up with it!
