I predict that the Cowboys will win their first game against the Niners, and everything after will be glorious.
When the Cowboys lose their first game of the season in Week 17 when they rest their starters, the forum will go into complete meltdown mode as fans will want the heads of Jerry and Garrett.
Meanwhile, a QB controversy will arise as Brandon Weeden goes 12 - 25, 145 Yards, 1 TD and 2 INTs in a fantastic performance against Washington in the loss. The usual suspects will point to these statistics as the ideal way for a QB to preform and ask why Romo can't do the same every week.
As the Cowboys go 15-1 and are the #1 seed in the NFC, they go 2 - 0 in the playoffs, defeating the Bucs in the divisional game and the 49ers in the Championship game.
Lastly, the Cowboys beat the Broncos in the Super Bowl 43 - 8. Demarcus 2.0 will sack Manning 6 times, and Demarcus 1.0's head will explode.
Calvin Watkins, having nothing stupid and idiotic to say, will retire from ESPN and slink back to New York where he can suck his thumb and snuggle his Eli Manning blankie.
Finally. The universe will be in order.
I cant find 9 wins In that schedule.
I don't think I will fool myself into a Playoff Win or more.
I will look at it as steps in the right direction vs overall playoff type success.
I hope to see some players step up on the defensive side of the ball as part of a young group of players to build around. A noticeable improvement on defense even if it is not as good as we would like...again players showing up and proving they can be a starting foundation of a new defense to build around.
The offensive line to continue to improve with a foundation of young players and Martin working out well.
Running the ball more. It does not have to be flipping the script to make this a team that runs more than passes, but enough that we don't have multiple games where we abandon the run to the teams detriment and to the point where the HC admits that they need to run the ball more.
Getting over the hump of the .500 record would be nice.
See if T.Williams steps up to the number two spot and one of the other young WRs steps up to the number three spot.
Seeing Escobar more involved even if it is just as a redzone target.
Having a small number of injuries to the players...esp in the hamstring area.
Does not have to be all of the above but would like to see some of the above work out....to show a step in the right direction.
NFCE crown. If we can somehow win it at 8-8, that would make me smile.
Just smile? C'mon now, we all know you'd be a lot more wild then that! I'd be on an adrenaline high for weeks.

I know that there are some eager beavers out there who read nothing more than the title of this post and are now itching to tell the world that "In Dallas, success is measured in Super Bowls," and that anything less is unacceptable. Dear Mr. Eager Beaver, please spare us that entitled nonsense.
For most NFL teams coming off four consecutive years without a winning record, simply finishing with a winning record would be considered a success. And if that winning record translated into making the playoffs, the season would probably be considered not just a success, but a triumph.
But that is not necessarily the case in Dallas. What endears us Cowboys fans so much to the rest of the NFL fanbase is our collective ability to hold on to successes from 20 years ago and derive some sort of expectation and relevance from it for today. Yet here we are, with one playoff win to show for the la
