Next year we need to sign a UFA QB or draft one with our 1st or 2nd. This is why missing on so many of 1’s and 2’s - Taco, Mazi, LVE, Twistin’ Trystin’, etc - hurts down the road. Our early drafting over the past 4-5 drafts has really been sus.

If jerry spent a premium pick on a QB during this 30 year hiatus, we would have probably been back to the NFCCG.

Dak is far more physically gifted than Mendoza. I think Mendoza will have a decent NFL career but I don’t see him an upgrade to Dak. Younger and cheaper yes, but with all the holes in this roster I don’t see him making a difference.

There is nothing we can do to get Mendoza. The Raiders haven't had a decent QB since Rich Gannon 25 years ago. Brady loves the guy. Its a done deal.

Would love to have a QB with intangibles. I’ll take a guy who makes plays when needed over some stat line that shows up on Monday.

I don't know how much if its culture with him. The kid is driven and disciplined. Hes they type of player you want to build around. Maybe even the type who helps set the culture.

I think before you get Mendoza you need to get a new HC. GM. DE. 2 CBs. 2 Safeties. A LB. A new LT. Get all that then Mendoza would be awesome.

Though Dallas would never have gotten to #1 overall pick, once you are eliminated from the playoffs, you should lose intentionally. Does your franchise any good winning meaningless games. The NFL proves this every years during pre-season, when starters barely play during pre-season if at all. NFL rewards losing when it comes to the NFL draft
