What Would You Do In Your DREAM Offseason

1) Let PacMan, Tank, Ellis and anyone else who wants to cry and complain or cause drama during the offseason go.

2) Trade Romo, big salary hit I know, I don't care, after his post game comments I have come to realize neither does he.

3) Trade TO, test the waters for a MB3 trade.

4) Pick up a serviceable QB in the off season through FA and any OL we can afford.

5) With our draft picks acquired through trades and our current picks, pick up a QB, OLine, Saftey, Pass Rusher to replaces Ellis, another CB and a stud FB.

6) Kiss Wade Phillips goodbye and clean house. Hire a coach and let HIM pick his staff

7) Require Roy Williams (WR) to practice every day for 8 hours a day during the offseason.

I'd start with signing the coach we need......Jeff Fisher.

His teams are always prepared and he knows the rule book better than anyone.

I am with you on #1. Jerry needs to get rid of the cry babies.
I am also in agreement with the other points except Romo being traded. I am not ready to give up on him just yet. I do think some solid competition for the QB position would make Romo a better, more focused player.

To read what some posters are saying on this site, all that needs to happen to fix the Dallas Cowboys problems is to fire QB coach Wade Wilson, not Wade Phillips, and that will solve everything

So your dream offseason would be to destroy the teams cap situaton for the next 3 years? To make it IMPOSSIBLE to sign anyone with any kind of talent over the next few seasons cause you decided to do away with Romo, Owens, and Barber as quickly as you could?

This is why I'm thankful that the average joes among us are not allowed to be anywhere NEAR the decision making for this franchise.

Do you realise with all the cap hits you'd take on from just those moves that your ideas of getting anyone servicable to come here in play after that are absolutely impossible?

This idea would take us from a disappointing 9-7 ball club to an outright terrible 1-15 type of ball club.

I know people are disappointed and angry but I'd much rather be disappointed in being a 9-7 team then to have to go through the crap that is a 1-15 or 3-13 type of campaign.

Didnt you hear? Because that's the magical way to getting better, fast, is by trading off all your players who are good, wrecking your cap, and replacing them with journeymen and practice squad players from other teams.
