What would you say the odds of Prescott securing a legitimate Pro Bowl selection?

There are better QBs in the NFC at the moment, however, popularity, record and recognition for efficiency make him a lock for the pro bowl in some capacity.

All Pro would be silly - he isn't at that level this year.

He is ranked 13th in the league in passing touchdowns and 18th in the league in yards.....
but 1st in the league in wins.... just saying. Aikman didn't rank top 5 in stats either but I dare you to tell me he didn't deserve pro-bowl considerations.

woops.... definitely a repeat. Guess I should have read further before jumping on the reply button... sorry.

Dak without a doubt should be in the probowl this year. Should be he, Wilson and Ryan.

I've voted for Dak about 20 times for the Pro Bowl so far, along with Zeke and other Cowboys. The NFL invites us to vote as many times as we want, so that is the way to help get our guys into the Pro Bowl where they belong. It isn't necessary to go though the whole ballot; you can just click on the players you want and then click "submit ballot". QBs are first, so you can vote for Dak only on the NFL home page right now and click "submit ballot" and be on your way.

This is Dak's team now. Even Romo admits it. And all the stats you can come up with isn't going to change that.

Hop on board or go home. The QB discussion is at an end.

As for the Pro Bowl itself, it is little more than a beauty contest. It seems like half the league are named Pro Bowlers once the Super Bowl players and injured players are eventually replaced. It has little meaning.

Being named an All Pro is the real recognition. And I don't see Dak being that.

He is also in the most balanced offense, should that count against him? Did you also argue against Aikman being great?

He is efficient and makes the plays needed to win the game. That's all that is needed from this offense.

It did against Romo in the MVP voting in 2014. It's not the same thing but you could argue that the QBs in the top 8 of yards with high ratings have played as well under more adverse conditions.

The kicker will almost certainly be in the probowl so what's your point?
I'm sure not arguing against Dak here...but come on guys, you know what his point was.

Individual players don't get wins like in golf or tennis.
It DOES help if the tea's winning if you want to make the Pro Bowl though.

And when I say legitimate, I mean not a sub due to injury/Super Bowl. No cheap Andy Dalton rookie year or Tyrod Taylor selections.

I figure since he is now the official, you can start taking about it

I would say at this point he would have to nosedive pretty bad to miss out. Even talking a true top 6 Pro Bowl selection
I like his chances even more now that perennial pro bowl pick Aron rogers is not having a pro bowl year. One less qb to have to compete with. Also russel Wilson has been hurt which decreases his chance of being selected to the pro bowl. Go Cowboys

unless he quits football today or throws 60 interceptions over the final games, hes pretty much a lock
