What would you say the odds of Prescott securing a legitimate Pro Bowl selection?

Six QBs make it in? He's a lock, barring collapse.

He's 4th in passer rating behind Brady, Ryan and Brees.
He's 2nd in QBR behind Brady.
I could see the now-healthy Wilson and Roethlisberger passing him on the voters' lists if they each go on a tear.
That's still only five guys, and he should certainly be ahead of Brees. He's in.

Love Prescott, but I can't see them putting him in the pro-bowl. Too many Cowboys haters out there that would have a stroke.

You mean like when Tony was voted in back in 06 after only playing around half a season? The league has total Dak fever right now.

Id put carr pretty firmly ahead of him as well.

Behind Matt Ryan
Behind Russel Wilson
Probably behind Matt Stafford and Drew Brees

Personally, I think he's our team MVP...even moreso than Zeke due to the position, but I don't see him making the ProBowl in his rookie year.

They aren't doing the choosing sides this year; it's back to NFC and AFC. I don't see him making it. The other players and coaches will see him as a rookie and credit his OL and weapons.

Then the list i quoted had ryan brees and wilson already ahead of him.

That's why I don't see the rookie going to the pro bowl this year; at most positions, even the deserving don't make it the first year. Voters usually make them prove themselves over at least a couple years first.

There's a good chance one of those QB's will be in the superbowl (if we aren't). I think the odds of Dak going are pretty high.

Again, Tony made it his first starting year only playing half the season.

1st in the league in wins and top 5 in QB rating.

Is he first in the league in wins or is the team? And 5th in the league in QB rating despite being so low in yards and touchdowns shows that he is a game manager. That's not a knock, but it's a reality.

This is Dak's team now. Even Romo admits it. And all the stats you can come up with isn't going to change that.

Hop on board or go home. The QB discussion is at an end.

Does that put him into the pro bowl?

And when I say legitimate, I mean not a sub due to injury/Super Bowl. No cheap Andy Dalton rookie year or Tyrod Taylor selections.

I figure since he is now the official, you can start taking about it

I would say at this point he would have to nosedive pretty bad to miss out. Even talking a true top 6 Pro Bowl selection
Over 50 percent.

Irrelevant. Tony was voted in, only playing around half the season in 06.

He actually played 10 games in 2006 and despite missing 6 games, was 15th in yards and 11th in touchdowns... but was NOT named to the pro bowl...

He played in the 2007 Probowl which was the Probowl at the end his '06 debut.

but 1st in the league in wins.... just saying. Aikman didn't rank top 5 in stats either but I dare you to tell me he didn't deserve pro-bowl considerations.

woops.... definitely a repeat. Guess I should have read further before jumping on the reply button... sorry.

You might want to look up Aikman's stats...
