When we need a quarterback (Romo can't play anymore or age has taken away his ability), then we should just tank a season and pick a QB high. While I like the idea of having a developmental player learning behind Romo, I fear that we would be wasting a roster spot on some low level prospect who may never pan out anyway.

We kind of got lucky with Romo, but that was after Carter, Hutchinson, Henson, Testaverde, and Bledsoe. I'd rather not be stuck in bad-to-mediocre ever again. I can live with one awful season, and a blue chip QB in the next draft. See: Colts, Indianapolis.

Two defensive lineman in the 2015 draft at the 1st and third pick. Basically no one, just stick with the draft board.

Considering Mariota is the best QB prospect since Luck, it would cost waayyy too much to trade up to get him. We have a QB, anyway.

But if I were a loaded team such as the Rams and needed a franchise QB, I would definitely trade for him.

And during the coin toss, the opposing coach could trot out all of the players acquired in the trade for him

Nothing we wait 2 more years and go all in for that QB in Clemson Watson... Im going to be on that bandwagon untill he enters the draft.. I'm calling it early that boy is special. and I'm A Florida Gator fan it's been a long time since I've seen a freshman who is this accurate with his throws its like the ball goes exactly where he tells it to and he's got real real good arm strength... So I would rather we wait, Tony is going to play another 2-3 yrs anyway

it's too early, Romo will play next year and maybe the year after.

The skins gave three! first rds and a second for Griffin

you can't sit a QB with that much assets laid out

just too early,mainly
Maybe the year after?

He's the QB for the next 4 years minimum, probably more.

I would rather go after Manziel. I would do everything within the rules to get Manziel to hold out and make the trade.

The price it would take to trade up high enough to draft Mariota would be too high for my taste.

Those resources need spend on the defense.

Thats why you draft a QB high. So he's not a project but the heir apparent

I am one of those guys who is not that high on any of these QBs,Mariotta seems like Kaepernick lite although he is not prone to errors like Kap and will throw the ball away if nobody is open,i am thankful we wont be the team which has to draft a QB in the first next year.
