How can a guy with a name like Kenyon Rambo not be awesome?

How did he do that?

If they had kicked an offside kick it would have been a penalty. Of course, we would have declined it.

changed his throwing motion, never gave him a fair shot.

He was set up

I don't know where he is now, but I know he was in Tucson last Friday and Saturday signing autographs.

Ron Fellows.

If I had a picture of Thurman's Thieves I would have taken it to have him sign. One of the best Cowboys pictures ever.

Every team that went to his tryout talked about his throwing motion being a problem, and I can't for the life of me see what you think Henson did to deserve more of a shot.

The guy was brought in as a project - it was known from the beginning he was a long shot after only starting 1 year in college then being away from the game altogether for 3 years. He never distinguished himself - it happens. He had other chances away from Dallas and he couldn't do it then either.

I thought Mike Williams (USC WR) was gonna beast in the league. He was invisible until this season with Seattle, but still nowhere near what I thought he would be.

Another Detroit WR, what's happened to Charles Rogers? Prison?

Yes, And even ordered to pay back a huge amount of his original signing bonus to the Lions for drug use.

Whatever happened to Zuriel Smith, Randall "4-Flat 40" Williams, and Lynn Scott?

That's right. Thanks. I never watch that show (hate reality shows with a passion).

I don't either - never saw him or Jimmy.

I haven't gone through this thread but I would doubt anyone has mentioned the name Otto Stowe.

He arrived in Dallas the same year (1973) that Drew Pearson did. He started opposite Bob Hayes in 73 and looked like he would become what Drew Pearson became.

Stowe reminded me of Paul Warfield. In 73 he caught 23 passes for 389 yards and led the team with 6 TD's.

He averaged 16.9 ypc that season and completely vanished after that. I always wondered whatever became of him.

Here's a story for those who don't remember him.

What happenned to the guy we drafted WR Jimmy Smith? Got hurt and Jerry didn't want to put him on the Wheaties superbowl box. Hope he caught on with another team.

Here's my list:

Alexander Wright 4.19 speed
Dave LaFleur (Aikman personally picked him) Gonzo was in that draft
Kevin Sweeney (played well in our strike season)
Wayne McGarrity (UT WR that couldn't catch on)
Skyler Green (what a bust)
Paul Palmer (the nestle plunge)

There is a good name. Probably not a lot of us are old enough to remember Otto Stowe. You obviously remember more than I do. I remember liking him, but I have no clear memory of him.

Remember Gloster Richardson? Another guy from that era I remember liking, but i have no clear memory of.

Ron Sellers? Billy parks?
