Urban did - not sure about Rector. Urban did reasonably well as a No. 4 guy in AZ, but not so much that I rued losing him. I did like him here and thought he could have helped us through a few years.

Rector is another former Cowboys receiver who tore it up in the CFL.

changed his throwing motion, never gave him a fair shot.

He was set up

...most players are set up. It's a matter of whether you can pick yourself up from the aftermath and conquer your mountains.

He couldn't hit the curve ball and he couldn't figure out defences. He had a terrible throwing motion and when under pressure would revert to a terrible sidearm delivery he carried over from his baseball days.

A good athlete who chased the money and fell short in the "career" category. Definitely a cautionary tale.

Not sure about cautionary. Even if he failed, it was worth the try.

Headcase.

I think he was the player that did not believe he had to run or do exercises in practice. Can't remember the whole thing about that but it was something along those lines.

Hahaha.

I'd bet you anything he wishes he had a redo on that choice.

"Let's see......out of the league in a hurry or hang around for the, at worst, vet minimum for the rest of my career"

Screw wind sprints.......I ain't doing em.

Billy Cannon Jr.

What a waste of talent. Cannon and Hughes were big losses for the Cowboys in that era.

I didn't know Cannon's father went to prison for counterfeiting $100 bills. 3 years.

Should have been $50's.

The Fatelli's were easily getting away with it until The Goonies came along.

my personal favorite:

Drew Henson. Parcells ruined the kid.

He didn't ruin Romo. What ruined Henson was giving up football and turning to baseball for 3 years.

Scattershooting wondering what happened to Lincoln Coleman?...

Working at Home Depot.......No, wait; that's where they found him.

...our draft classes from 1999-2002? On a related note, whatever happened to Larry Lacewell?

Right, he thought he was entitled to a spot in the HOF, just by showing up.
