for example I really miss bermans fastest three Minutes. I fondly remember watching the highlights with the epic music and the drama they'd build(Bc back then you really don't know all the results already)with the "tiiick tick- tick- tick - tick- tick -tick

And the old fox graphic and music with summeral and maddens voices is just football to me

Loved madden. He did such a great job of educating fans and pointing out the grunts in the trenches who don't always get the praise they deserve
He was also just fun. The rest of the guys are too serious and grudens cornball phony shtick isn't welcoming to a broadcast

Summerall and Madden. Bergman and the gang on NFL Primetime from 90 to about 95ish (after that, he became holier than thou with his social justice warrior persona). Dick Enberg was another I liked. Verne Lundquist.
CAn you expound on Berman being a sjw?

Madden absolutely adored Larry Allen. He was already calling Larry the best offensive lineman in football in just his second season. I will never forget his phrase a couple times every game "Did you see Larry Allen!!" I really enjoyed watching Madden's replays of Larry. He never brought attention to himself so I'm so glad Madden did it for him.

Pat Summerall = Cowboys dominance for me. Hearing his voice on youtube brings those super bowl memories back.

Madden was more about turkey leg on T-day and saying how many Nate Newton probably eats after game.

That it was. Like poetry.

I miss those days of Madden obsessing over the linemen's sweat lines.
As goofy as it was, I do too, brother.

Pat was the glue to that whole duo, though. I don't think anyone could reign John in like Pat. He was just so steady and classic. Listening to him is like listening to John Facenda from NFL Films. Lost treasures of the game, man.

Seeing John Madden eulogize Pat was a tough thing to watch. Truly brothers from another mother.
