What's the point of having the most expensive Oline in the history of mankind
Maybe Dak’s pre-read adjustments are simply garbage too and it’s impacting the OL play...
Just another ‘absolve’ Dak thread...
What percentage of the cap is currenty owned by the offense?
Only 71%...
I don't think so; however, the reason other teams manage with inferior players and backups on the OLine is because those teams get by with way more holding. You know I'm going to have to get some of the film study Guru nerds excetera excetera (you know who you are LOL) to back me up on us but I'm wondering if we weren't doing a really good job of holding on pass protection the last couple years and if they're just calling it and we can't block well without it?
Just food for thought
Now don't get me wrong I know we're getting screwed by the zebras this year but I'm just wondering if they're calling it and in the past they weren't.I don't think so; however, the reason other teams manage with inferior players and backups on the OLine is because those teams get by with way more holding.
You can look a holding call stats. I think the holding calls on the Cowboys OLine are similar to past years but the holding calls on the opponents are way down. Now don't get me wrong I know we're getting screwed by the zebras this year but I'm just wondering if they're calling it and in the past they weren't.
Someone brought up the point that Collins was left handed playing at RT, not the easiest thing to do. Tyron Smith has given up 5 sacks already this year, I believe his most ever.Any consensus on whether Collins is as good RT as he was at LT?
its in the play...zeke was ready and often its much easier for the RB to transition into the NFL. Dak was an exception more than a rule. but both of those guys played 4 years of football at the highest level of college. Rico was a basketball player, transitioning into being a TE, blocking, running routes, etc. his preseason showed he has the hands, but also showed his route running is a work in progress and his blocking is just not there. that was the reports from the camp as well. How exactly does one become ready? Were Dak and Zeke ready last year?
I don't think its just Dak. he is not absolved from this, but if it was that simple, thenb the fix would be simple. its the OL, the QB, the WRs, the play calling, the coaches, everything is just on different pages.Yup...
You know, I have heard that great QBs make other players on their team great.
Well, in Dak's case, apparently he makes everyone worse...
Witten is old and slow..
Dez is a bum..
Williams should never had been extended..
Beasley forgot how to get open..
And now, the all pro offensive line also sucks..
I have to ask myself, how would these same players look like with a Phillip Rivers/Carson Wentz at helm.
Also,I keep hearing how Dak is this great leader, so why do his teammates keep quitting?
Another thing, people keep saying "Dak will be fine he is a hard woker he will get better" my question is, what has Dal been doing for the past five years?
Has Dak not been working on his feet? On his accuacy? Hmm....i guess not.
