In 2014 nobody was really believing in the Cowboys until after the Seahawks game... Then suddenly everyone was. What's that game for us this year? If we go to 4-1 this weekend do we suddenly become legit contenders, or is it just beating the 2-3 Bengals. What about the Packers game? Certainly by the Eagles game right? Just wondering. For me, if we are 5-2 after the Eagles game with a healthy Romo we will be legit contenders.

P.S. Even at 4-3 or heck 3-4 I will not give up hope, but yea 5-2 would be good

at Pittsburgh.

Win that one and its downhill from there.

December is starting to look pretty good for us with tampa and Detroit falling apart.
That's a ways away. You won't consider us legit contenders at 6-1 after the Eagles?

I would and do in the east already.

I don't think we will be 6-1 though. I think there will be some up and down and then if they win at Pittsburgh things could really set up.

it could be GB here in two weeks, we will score on them.

The Packers or Eagles I'd think.

Dak, getting the ball to Dez, in crunch time. In GB. Getting it done where Tony didn't and the week before Tony's scheduled return to the starting lineup. Would make for some great football story lines the next week. Win or lose.

Or Tony coming back against the Eagles, getting hurt, and Dak coming from behind to put the team on his shoulders. Another good story line (if you're not in the Romo household).

Or, we lose both and go back into hibernation because we don't get a SEA moment this season. :(

As far as facing a physical and talented defense and unfamiliar opponent. I would say Cincy and @ Minny. As impressive as Philly has been, they're a divisional foe, we're familiar with them and obviously have dealt with them many times.

There isn't one. It was a unique moment because at the time Seattle was king of the hill and invincible at home. Green Bay is a tough place to play but they lost to the Bears, Lions and Vikings there last year and they've been scuffling a lot over the last two years.

Id think the Packers game.

You go into Lambeau and come out there say 5-1 (assuming we can beat Cincy which is a big assumption), then yeah, it's that same feeling from 2014.

The biggest for me is Pittsburgh. No sb so just want to beat them.

Among the Packers, two Eagles game and the Steelers, if we go 2-2 or 3-1, that'll make the season essentially.

Can you imagine if Dak goes in and outplays Rodgers? Extremely unlikely, but the hysteria around Dak will be uncontainable.

If we win this week, people might not gush Cowboys praise but they'll be paying attention.
