The book on Philly, IMO, is simple. It is the same as it's always been these past few years.
Contain McNabb. Make him beat you from the pocket. I have always felt as if McNabb is at his best when he is able to break containment and run or pass down field at his discression. If you make him stay in the pocket, he will make a mistake IMO. He will throw a pick. I am not impressed with the running game from Philly right now so I think we have a good opportunity to employee a scheme that can be succesful. Just depends on how disciplined our young Defense can be. Packers had some success pressuring McNabb but they lost contain too many times. There WRs don't really scare me at all but LJ is another matter. Our LBs have to play very well against him or he can be a guy who causes problems for us. Offensively, we just have to sustain drives. I don't see them being able to stop us, per say. We should be able to move the ball effectively but we can't have Turn Overs. We have to play good football, that means no stupid drive killing penalties. We have to score when we get the opportunities. Doesn't have to be TDs but we definatly have to be able to make the damn FGs. If we can sustain drives, that's going to put a huge amount of pressure on McNabb to make plays. Limit his ability to make plays by limiting the offensive opportunities and we can win this game comfortably IMO. For Philly, I think there game plan is to hit Bledsoe often and early IMO. To me, this is really the only change they have. If they can get early pressure, Bledsoe will fold IMO. They have to force Turn Overs and penalties. I just don't think they can stop our offense any other way.
