Journey in 2005(Great show!) and my GF dragged me to Cher a couple weeks later(she paid like $120 per:banghead: ) good show though.

Taking my 10 year old son to his first concert on the 4th of Sept. REO Speedwagon/ 38 Special/ STYX are giving a 4 hour show in Bismarck N.Dakota. 40 bucks to get in so it's not bad.

Lizz Wright near Lincoln Center. She will be here this weekend again, (Central Park) but my wife is taking my daughter and I'm taking my son to do something else. No way he will go to see a Jazz concert at 9 years old.

The King's Singers about 4 years ago.

(If country music isn't welcome, I'd imagine an a cappella choral ensemble is asking for a butt whipping. I better high-tail it!)

I went to a Cheap Trick/Heart/Journey triple-header last year that was fantastic!

Also, they have these local little concerts near my house and last year they had Foreigner and another with Blues Traveler, so those were fun. Haven't gone to any this year, but next weekend is supposed to be Survivor, so I'll probably go to that.

We only get a minimum amount of shows a year on my Island. '

We went and saw Earth, Wind and Fire when they played in Waikoloa about a year ago I think. My wife went and saw Pat Benatar with her friends a while back too. Other 'n that, I think Styx or someone like that came around as well.

Paul McCartney, this past Saturday at Piedmont Park in Atlanta. It was fantastic. I am a music nerd snob and I go to about 25+ shows a year (for the last 15 years or so) but Sir Paul topped them all. Over 40,000 people screaming and cheering and singing along, it was absolutely unreal. Even included a 3-minute stage pyrotechnic and fireworks display during Live and Let Die. And the best part is, I didn't have to fight any of them in traffic. I walked home!

Here's a pic of the crowd from near the stage. Not my photo, but gives you an idea of how many people were there.

Death Cab for Cutie.

Hmm, that's kind of embarrassing.

I saw them about a year and a half ago and realized as the show went on that I really don't like them
