First off, I might be ripped for this but I think one of the biggest plays was on the Eagles 3rd play from scrimmage when it was 3rd and 10 and we rush three guys and Garica read a book, had a sprite and took a nap before he found Lewis over the middle for a first down. From here, we elect to rush three or four guys [ yea, I know, that Garica he has the strongest and most accurate arm in the league we should be scared if we blitz] the rest of the drive and half for that matter, and the Eagles have drives of well, you know. On top of this, I guess hitting Garica wouldn't of effected his play??? I guess this is why we had a scared gameplan. The best thing we could have done is play coverage with all those all pro's the Eagles have on offense. Hitting Garcia might of inspired him even more. Ohh yea, lets spy Anothny Henery, who is battling a knee injury and is one of the slower db's in the league, and play him against maybe the fastest man in the NFL in Dante Stallworth. Real intellgent!!!!!! Yea, he got an INT but we were playing on the edge the entire time. Ohh, im not done yet, the last drive of the 1st half why rush anybody at all????? Matter in fact, we should of kept Larry Allen just for this situation to try to outmuscle an entire offensive line since we elect to bring virtually no one. To the guys we did bring, they had to fight through two olineman. What do you think Larry would had been all-pro in this spot. Our defense's IQ doesn't stop there. Now that we rush only 3 guys on 7 lineman, we should have pretty decent coverage, right? No, we elect to put all of them as close to the locker room as we could. This was smart bcuz I guess the last one in Parcells makes run laps and thats why TO prolly was out there as he wants no part of that.

The second half we decide to bring pressure and we did stop the Eagles for the most part. At least we got stops. I know they had the 80 yard play on a blitz but come on, where's the creativity of a Jim Johnson on that blitz? I knew where they were coming, you knew and so did the Eagles; it made Garica audible to an easy throw. Plus, when we blitz, instead of trying to find an open lane we just have a test of strength wih there oline as we grapple with all of their blockers. It's like get to the QB. If were going to blitz 8 wouldnt it be smart to bring all the guys from each side instead of up the middle where you can easily collapse yer oline.

Newman covers so well its not even funny. Screw it, have him man up with no help on the outside. Just by doing this should open up the D. I'm so upset right now it's not even funny. Ever since we beat Indy we have used the same game plan every week since then and it might had worked one week but its not our strength[zone.] You notice our D went downhill after the Indy game. Even though we beat TBAy how many times was Galloway open in a zone and the QB just missed him? First drive, Galloway caught a 60 yard pass in between a zone. Then we got destroyed by the Saints and Eagles. We beat the GMen but they went up and down the field on our zone coverage. Man it up Zimmer, mix up rushing 4-5-6-7 guys and lets take our chances. Do what we did early.
