losing in say . . . . the NFC Championship game?
For example, if the Giants were to lose in the Super Bowl, whether it's by 1 point or 30 points, is that worse than losing in the NFC Championship game?
You could argue that it's meaninful to even play in the Super Bowl, win or lose. On the other hand, it's a huge stigma to have lost the Super Bowl with about 1 billion people around the world watching.
I guess with respect to our Cowboys, I'm still proud that we played in a record 8 Super Bowls. It says a lot to the quality of our teams over the years.
