bill bellicheat could take this team and they would be in the playoffs no doubt even with matt cassel. the patriots are having lots of injuries now but they don't stop winning. Most of the problems with this team are the coaching staff injuries and talent level is not what we think it is.

What's wrong with the 2015 Cowboys? They just are not good enough. Injuries are just excuses and the next man up does not apply with the Cowboys. Our depth is horrendous and until this is rectified we are not winning anything.

I have no doubt that is true. You think you have a lot of these guys causing distractions on social media if he was coach. Would be a completely different culture.

What's wrong with 2015 Cowboys? If you look at all offensive stats (1st downs, 3rd-4th down conversions, yards, plays, rushing yards, time of possession) versus our 11 opponents totals, the only stats in which we underperformed our opponents was passing and TDs.
That tells you what's important, and answers your question.

I think he rushed back like Tony because this team kept losing every week.

He he will continue to get killed and ridiculed for it.

Injuries and bad coaching hurt the Cowboys.

Romo. Dez. Add Scandrick. His loss was huge.

The o line is also not what it was last year. Smith has not been good and Free has been bad.

Bill Callahan left. Thie offensive line sucks. Can't create much movement, whiff too many times, and can't protect the passer. Essentially 4 first rounders, and they suck as a group. That is a coaching problem. The defense has had a few lapses, but the offense, even with Romo, has been putrid. It is all poor Oline related.

The whole team is disappointing. The O-Line was supposed to be the strength of the team. What the hell happened to them? I guess Callahan was more important then I thought. I just don't understand why they look so bad at times. Guys wanna point out Free all the time, The entire line has not played good. The defense hasn't been the biggest problem but they have no playmakers. Nobody can jump on a fumble or hold onto an interception. I'm telling myself well there's next year. What's going to change though? Jerry is still running the show

Teams can shut down our offense with the blitz for a long time and we still can't correct it.teams are not afraid of the long ball with Romo.

Last year was an outlier. Here is the reality that is clear. This was an 8-8, 9-7 best team if healthy

Coaching is terrible. No way they should have lost 7 in a row. Garrett on notice in 2016

Romo is old and brittle. He should have stayed out the year

Losing Murray, Callahan and relying on Randle is costing them and not drafting a RB.

Pass rush is still missing. Hardy was a bad signing and I look forward to him being off the team

Dez is overrated - sorry, but true

The defense was a league leader in takeaways last year and you can't expect that to continue

The offensive line is overrated

Finally - what has been proven in the past, is proven again - If the Cowboys have any success, they falter the following year

For the rest of year, play the youngest players, give Kellen Moore a couple of starts and prepare for the draft. Hopefully some of the denial homer still finally see the reality of this year.

At this point, get a top 5 pick.

What really irritates me is that I can't revel as much in the Eagles dismal season, because we are worse!!!
Dez is overrated - sorry, but true....... yes and trying to franchise him was big mistake.
it affected him mentally, and he got out of shape, and missed camps, then hurt hamstring, so missed more, then
showed up not ready to play game 1 and hurt foot.
Dez is the type guy, that thinks he is so good all he has to do is show up and play. He doesnt have a good work ethic.
His main talent has been going up for balls , making circus catches.

And to add to that coaches dont get innovative with him, and he just lines up wide and runs the same simple routes.
He also seems to not know his hot reads, as in the miami game.
He got his money so now we are seeing the real dez.

On the int today he chose to stop and chat with defender, rather than chase down the guy running it back for a td ! lol
That says a lot right there.
has he been worth 13 mil this year??....... no and he may never be
I would rather have had murray and the 5 mil left over than dez this year.

The offensive line is overrated......... yeah I said this before season and took flac for it lol, they are good , but not great.
And some teams seem to just dominate them. Could be the no callahan effect. or lack of size.

Losing Murray, Callahan....... this changed everything and started the whole domino effect leading to where we are now.
Cowboys had a good thing going, it worked, they had chemistry and team unity, and the jones boys decided to fix it, and'
they fixed it good !!

The defense was a league leader in takeaways last year..... someone else pointed out that 17 or 1/2 of last years takeaways
were by players jones boys let go ! They fixed the defense too !

Pass rush is still missing.........I dont know that hardy was a bad signing, but lawrence and gregory have not shown up much.
hardy cant do it all and then he has taken a beating from media.
I know at times he is doubled, so without help from other DL only so much he can do.

Scandrick........ losing this guy all year hurt in many ways.

Coaching is terrible......... yes and not just JG, I will say that JG wanted to keep murray, and keep same style offense but
jones boys felt they knew best.
ST coach needs to go, qb coach ,O line coach, rb coach, HC , really we need a whole new staff.

People say no romo needs JG, but it is JG that keeps things as they are, same offense other defenses know how to stop
or exploit .
like today, those ints were too easy for the defense, and they were not bad passes. The defenders just read it and made plays on
the ball.

On defense, in some ways marinelli is good, but I think he is stuck in the past, and we need a better dc.
I liked what Carolina is doing on defense.

The team is a reflection of the HC, and right now that reflection isnt too good.
I saw lack of hustle today from star players, and I think these guys are ok with losing and watch the tape and get better.

Last week TW caught a td pass, and went nuts ! acted like he just scored in a SB game lol that says a lot about
what is wrong too. The team is 2-7 and he is celebrating how great he is after just one td ! and Dez was right there helping him.

Bottom line is they had a good team and formula last year, but the jones boys let the wrong players go, and now
we are seeing the results of that.
plus the other issue of having weeden as bkup qb.

Dez never came back into form post-injury. I think his injury is still nagging him, holding him back.

It was a mistake for the Cowboys to place their receiving future in Bryant's hands. While talented physically, his mental deficits will prevent him from being an elite performer on a consistent basis. Dumb players, who rely on natural ability instead of study, fail to improve.

Question for people bringing up Murray and Callahan...

What is it that you believe the running game is not doing as well as last year?

IMO, it all started with the Dez holdout.

The FO was always going to sign him, so they should have just signed him and tagged Murray.

Running game would have been better off, Dez would have been ready to go probably would not have suffered the foot injury.

And overall, I don't think Romo would have been injured if we were rolling like we had been with the same offense like last year.

That said, I think the FO did the best they could in a tough situation and had no real way of knowing that the injuries would rear their heads.
