Whats your Draft Day Ritual?

Hey I did put in a new water filter in my fridge yesterday for some high quality H2O!

Now that's some high quality H2O.

Day before: Run all my errands, load up the fridge, let people know not to bother me tomorrow unless someone has died.

Draft day: Order a pizza, turn off the phone, sit home in my underwear watching NFL Network's Draft coverage, Online listening to Norm, reading comments here, and getting seriously fat for the next 3 days.

In my best Mike Singletary voice: "I like that kinda party."

I play softball on Thursday night, have been for about 10 years now. So, we always request our game early on this night, then hang around the park in their one of their bars and get hammered

Hit for the cycle, baby! Then drink like you won the World Series.

Mine, ever since the draft was moved to 8, every year around 3PM I want Gettysburg. Great movie and at 4 hoursish, great time killer. After that right before the draft starts I get too cooking ( unless Im doing ribs that year) This year im going with lime mejito steak fajitas which seriously looking forward to almost as much as the draft

Load up on carbs. sit next to the good looking woman at the bar and toss some bon mots to impress her, like "Why yes, the weather does seem unseasonably cool but I am a cool customer anyway," and then watch her to see if she arches her brow. Then I casually eye her and say, why, little filly, you look nice. I hope you did not hurt yourself when you landed on yo big ash when you fell from heaven." then I order chicken wings and some salsa and chips and listen to the first-round selection. By this time the gal is thoroughly impressed by mein acumens in the language and mein faux fur hoody and mein Romanian shoes (size 15, I tell her), mein big brains and such. by the 2nd-round she is puddy in mein hands and I buy drinks all around unless there are too many people. Well that is pretty much it. I love draft day and hope to see many more especially if Jerra draft defensive players. If not then I will pout and all of you hear will pay the price.

Estimate what time the cowboys draft. Try to turn to that channel 5 minutes before that time. If they are almost up, watch the pick. If they already went, look up the pick. Go to bed.

Always pick up wings and set up the "command center" at home in front of the TV....except this year. My furniture is still on the road, so I'll be sitting at BWW with my phone and iPad tonight.

I had initially wanted to go to the draft party at the stadium, but with rumors that we may not even pick tonight (via a trade down) I decided that's a long way and a lot of money to see everyone else pick, lol.
