Another Coworker and I have been talking all year about how Romo fails to take responsibility for his turnovers. That is perhaps the most disappointing aspect of his game, he brings a lot to the table but take responsibility for your actions

he's just like the rest of them, nobody feels threatened over poor performance in our franchise, players or coaches

We need that "continuity" according to Jerry.

Things could get even uglier next year.

I think it is fair to say the Honeymoon and Love Affair with Tony Romo is over with regards to the fans.

Honestly, I think Tony Romo is under huge pressue, which is expected when you are the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys.

He has been apart of some of the biggest disasters in Franchise History. This fact and how much criticism he receives nationally and locally, you have to wonder how long he can hang on mentally.

Don't worry fans will dig up inflated stats, and compare him to other QBs over their first 40 games. Aikman had 3 rings by the time he was 29, his free pass is over.

Please. Jason Campbell could've had 3 rings with that team around him. Not to mention Jimmy Johnson, which is the 1 thing this team needs.

No. No the hell he couldn't have. That argument is ****ing ignorant, ask anyone around the league - Aikman was surgical. He made you pay and rarely missed a pass. Was a great leader that worked hard and knew the game very well.

So no, Jason Campbell couldn't have won 3 rings with that team. And for the love of God don't say anymore asinine **** like that.

O come on chuckytown. To compare this team with those teams of the 90's is what's ignorant. Those teams would beat this one alot worse than 44-6.

I was logically refuting your claim that Campbell could win 3 rings with the 90s teams around him.

At no point did I compare this disaster to the 90s team, you're high.

"Stats don't hide that Romo was running for his life on most pass plays, forced to make the first guy miss. These guys had a horrible year, across the board. No excuses for them, Romo hasn't had a consistent pocket to throw in weeks."

Hello - these 2 statements were both made by you mere minutes apart. Did you forget to take your medicine this morning?

Uh yeah, I don't see how he was comparing the current group of "players" to the 90's team.

They why you need a head coach like Mike Holmgren that will put him in his place...

Mike Holmgrem is sounding pretty good right now .... or the Chin.

Basically anyone who can breath some life into this team.

Do you think when he said "I've got to get better" in his post-game presser not taking responsibility?

Of course, talk is cheap, but it's gotta start somewhere.

People made a big deal about how wrong Andy Reid was for benching McNabb the way he did but if you look at how Donovan played since then it obviously wasn't too bad a move after all.

Possibly Romo needs to know that could happen to him as well. I know Terry Bradshaw needed a benching before he started to get it as well. I guess every once in a while that's a better option than people realise.

No I really don't I honestly think he is just saying that. He never really talks about his mistakes. He always finds ways to justsify them, such as the punt comment in the baltimore game or the scheme comment from the eagle game. There comes a time that he needs to learn how to protect the ball.

I'll tell you when: when the offensive line plays a good game, and he blows it anyway.

Something tells me that's not going to take place though.

He's been saying that for a while, but the turnovers keep coming.

Hopefully the embarrassment of his turnovers leading to a blowout against the Eagles is enough for him to finally take protecting the ball more seriously. Every offensive lineman should be ashamed of themselves as well, but I'm sure they're just prepping for their vacations and trips to Hawaii.

Perhaps turnovers are a function of poor O-Line play though. If he's not rushed on every single throw he makes, then I doubt he turns the ball over half as much as he does.
