when folk missed the field goal, they showed a clip of jerry jones in his booth, did it look like to you zoners, that jerry jones was upset and saying if you could read lips. That we need a kicker?

he's reminding me of Vanderjagt cause every kick slices right even his extra points

I missed the shot of Jerry so I don't know what he said but I'm not really ready to just dump Folk. He's going through a bit of a slump but I think he'll work his way out of that.

I don't know if Jerry was saying that, but a lot of fans were. Folk is in a funk and we need him to come out of it. NOW.

watching folk in warmups sunday and today, he makes everything. 55 yards away he hits it right down the middle.

Hopefully he snaps out of it.

We sure hope that he will. I don't have a lot of confidence in him right now.

cool theebs, so what do you think the problem is then, since in practice he is making everything like you say he is?

I dunno guys... He barely missed it, and 49-yarders aren't exactly gimmes.

You can't be serious right? FG kickers are paid to do two things, kickoff and make field goals!

One time when they showed him I thought he was talking about Alan Ball. I'm sure he's tired of paying Hamlin so much. Right after that they showed Hamlin on the sideline and from his body language he didn't look very comfortable.

He's pushing the ball a little. He's still a pretty good kicker even with the mini-slump.

It just seems mental. I would imagine he just is really concious of missing and missing to the right.

Laufenberg threw it out there tonight that he thinks folk is struggling with having the first time he kicks the ball in the game be an x tra point or fg.....unlike kicking off and being a part of the game like in the past.

I just think its mental. that one he missed today, he didnt seem to hit it with any power, it was like he was trying to place between the uprights.

So he should be able to make them from 65, right? Since he's getting a paycheck and all.

Just saying that he wasn't very far off, at least today. I don't know what the percentages are from 50 yards, but they aren't great. That's why I didn't buy that we just "got lucky" when Suisham missed that 50-yarder last week.

Looked to me, once again Mcbriar did not have the laces all the way straight looked like they were to the right some causing the ball to sail right. Noticed it on the replay.

Hmm, what about having folk use the net thing and have him working on sideline and keep warmed up?

what happened to "he has ice in his veins" hes a great kicker. lords posters flop like fish out of water.

If its not the top player at every position, its just tears coming down the faces. If this guy goes hot in december a lot of people will be looking bad, but most are used to it anyway.
