Any objective observer would have to conclude that at this point in time, Dak is definitely a better NFL QB than Wentz.

More durable.
More clutch.
Superior leadership skills. Literally zero drama associated with Dak.
And at this point he’s simply a better, more accurate passer.
And better using his legs.

I mean is there even one thing that Wentz clearly does better than Dak?

We tried that idea out at the beginning of last season. They were even boasting about how smart they were with the no #1 WR theory.

But in the spirit of this thread I do have to point out that Dak has looked better than Wentz since day one.

Agreed. Have Dak play against the Seahawks with those two starting along with Xavier playing RG instead of Martin and Fleming playing RT instead of La"el.

He hasn't been fine since draft day. Never even had a snap in postseason. He's been injured every season. Wentzie has 6 fumbles and over throws his receivers as of late. Stop with the excuses.

It is true that Wentz has no star wrs or rbs and his OL is banged up. But, that said, he's got the best tandem of TE's in the NFL and he's not playing well. I watched him throw a pass last week flat footed with his feet parallel to the LOS. His mechanics are horrible and he's regressing. Foles was the better QB.

Eagles have the worst WR’s in the league by a large margin. Many of the misses against Seattle were the WR’s being in the wrong spot. Dan Orlovsky did a nice job breaking to down.
Wentz’s mechanics have been flawed and I think he is in his own head but a lot of that is about the talent around him. He definitely has things to work on, consistent mechanics and getting the ball out but he’ll be fine.

And for the record, Nick Foles is not a better QB. Everyone who points to last year’s run forgets the offense didn’t get any better under Foles. They only scored 1 ppl per game better when Foles was in. YPG didn’t change significantly either. What did change was the D, they got guys back. Over the stretch Foles was playing the D gave up 8 ppl less. That’s a huge improvement.
Not to mention Foles is older and had been injured more than Wentz.

Philly rushed for over 200 yards and 3 tds. Wentz threw the ball only 24 times and for one td. Talk about Dak being a "bus driver", Wentz was the textbook bus driver in that game. Dak did that many times in 2016 and was roundly criticized for it, but Wentz does it and he's a great quarterback?
