You know... its funny. It wasnt a spanking "per se", not score-wise anyway. When we beat the Colts a few years ago. We execute VERY well.

We started off a bit slow in the Tampa game this year, but you could say the Bucs got spanked pretty good by the end of it.

If memory serves, it was week 11 of the 2009 season. Washington came to Dallas and got rolled by 20 points.

More often than not recently we have been the "spankee" rather than the "spanker".

We never pull a NE and blow a team out of the water 55-3 or something.

I don't think so. To our credit, other than the Eagles debacle this team generally plays to the competition. Just shows that there is actual talent here, but other factors are limiting our success.

What team do you follow? With the exception of Philly at the end of last season, the Cowboys always have a chance to win each game. Not much spankin' goin' on. Lots of mistakes, though.

Yea besides philly we never get spanked and are always in there at end.If we stopped the penalties and mistakes we would get over that hump.

When I think of the "All-Out spank a team", I am thinking of what Dallas did to the Eagles back in 2005.

If you remember correctly, it started out as the Bledsoe to Terry Glenn show. Then the Dallas defense clamped down as a rookie named Demarcus Ware and Terrance Newman registered sacks. Safety Roy Williams made some big tackles on Terrell Owens that forced Philly punts.

The one score by the Eagles came when a sideline pass to Keyshawn bounced off him and into the hands of Sheldon Brown. That caused a little ruckus on the sidelines afterwards.

All-in-all, the Cowboys won 33-10, and the total yardage was something like 451-119.

THAT IS A BEAT DOWN, FOLKS!

I want to see one of those again before I start to believe this team is anywhere close to championship caliber.

I think the attention to detail (and focus) is too poor with this team to do that. If this team ever got out of it's own way...who knows.

Ryan, That one was sweet also!

That one began with a Marcus Spears sack and strip of McNabb.
