Today's loss hurts. Just like the Washington game. And the Oakland game. And the Seattle game.

But when it's all said and done, we're 7-4, in the thick of the NFC playoff hunt with a battle for (possibly) the divisional crown one week away, and have lost by a combined six points to two of the top three teams in the league.

This team's flaws are a plenty. But even so, from what I've seen, save Indianapolis, this team seems to be among the league's best. And IF we beat New York next week, we'll really be in the middle of the playoff picture. A loss would be quite devestating, IMO.

I could not agree more....
The loss hurts ,but a lot of good came out of it...
We see that we are one of the best teams in football....
I think we lost that game more so than Denver won it , that is not to take anything from Denver ,but if I am a Denver fan I would be sending out thank you cards for the gift.

Games like that where you do so many good things and are clearly out playing the opponent and then do not capitalize , they are the games you lose....

I know one thing we are on the verge of having a very special defense and I love it...

Yea and when it's all said and done we got:

Giants
Chiefs
Commanders
panthers
Rams

still left on the schedual.

Does it get any harder than that?

And if we can't win the necessary amount of games in that group, then we'll be rightfully sitting on our rears come mid-January. But honestly, we're better than Kansas City, Washington, and St. Louis. We've already beaten New York once. We'll see about Carolina.

Those are good teams, but so is this one.

Rams and Commanders should be easy. Chiefs are not as good as they appear. We are equal to the Giants and Carolina is not invicible.

We can beat any team left on the schedule, but make no mistake, the reverse of what I said is true as well.

Man, after losing to Oakland and almost losing to the Niners, I will never say beating anybody will be easy.

I totally disagree about the Skins. That defense should be able to keep them in most of their games this year and the Rams have players that could hurt us too.

The Rams season will be over by the time they play us and is the night game on the last day of the season, they won't have much motivation to put up a fight.

I hope your right. We will need every win we can get.

But I will just have to wait and see it happen on the field before being convinced.

Why not beat both the Broncos and the Giants? Seriously, some of you would settle for less when you could have had it all.

I mean, yeah, we're a good team, and yeah, he "hung" with the Broncos, some of the AFC's best. But when are these problems going to get fixed? They havn't gotten fixed yet. We've had four losses with the same type of stupidity the cause of each one. If Parcells doesn't fix this team right now, then I'd say the 'boys are done.

Cowboys have as good a shot at the Super Bowl as anyone else this year. The NFC is terrible. No one really stands out. Even more intimidating AFC teams like Indy and Cincy with scary as hell offenses have some shaky defenses. I hate parity.

Skins D is very middle of the pack. 16th in points given up, at 20 a game. Behin Cincy, Seattle, Detroit, ect.

Wit that O, their D isnt going to win them many games

It comes down to this...lose to the Giants, you can turn out the lights.

That's pretty much true. Lose to the G-men and our season is shut down.

Any clue as to what the weather will be like in NY next week?

Well man, when you consider this a rebuilding year and think that we were not even supposed to be contending this year I think we made remarkable strides. If you consider the weakened state of the NFC and say we can still win it, your right, but anything we do this year would be complete gravy. After another stellar FAy period and draft, I think we should be in prime position to challenge next year. and for years after that.

The key to make this year fruitful is to follow it up with an Offense blitz like we did on D last year in the off season. If we do that, we will be good to go for years to come and the NFC will be ours with litttle challenges to our supremecy.

The bottom line is we need one or two less injuries. Singleton, Dat, Henry, JJ, Crayton, Adams, Shanle, Ratliff, and Pierce are all very significant injuries. Did I miss anyone? Not to mention Rogers, Thornton, and Beriault since we didn't start the season with them. When all those guys were healthy we were a different team.
