it seems like Jason and Hudson are rooted in the early 90's mentality that execution will win out most times...and those Cowboys teams were great at that with Troy and Michael demanding perfection at every snap
...but that does not work today as our team is not disciplined and teams are finding our schemes easy to prepare for... couple that with less than stellar execution and you can see why we have the problems we do with OL play and lack of creativity in the overall game planning

Last week the giants defensive players spent the whole week talking about how confused they were the first time we played them from the new looks we gave them.

They said they had alot to prepare with all the personnel subbing, the wildcat and the running formations from the first game.

Not one person brought it up here, because Garrett is one of the local whipping boys.

Its december, the defense cant tackle again, they make a ton of mental mistakes, burn timeouts, the special teams were horrendous and who do people want to blame jason Garrett.

Now blame him for the offensive lines inability to block in the running game, but losing the game was on the big guy.

I know though, shotgun.

Were the confused the second time is the real question, you know when Garrett fades?

With all that yardage, you would think we would have scored more than 17 points with 2 minutes left, with 7 of those coming on a fumble caused by Ratliff in the Giants territory anyways...Bend-don't-break...

I think that type of football can still be played.There are alot of games where one can call out run or pass,and i'm not talking just Dallas.I think part of the problem in Dallas is that the overall talent level of the team is overrated.I also think that this team is ill prepared at times.And I also think that the 90's team had a desire to be the best,that desire does not reside at Valley Ranch today.Now if this team could find a catalyst to rally this team and find that desire to be the best they may be on to something.

It was the offensive line's failure to execute their blocking assignments which didn't help Barber, Jones or Choice run the ball. You can give some of the credit to the Giants for outmuscling our offensive line half the time and holding the rest of the time.

So if they dont forget how to tackle, and dont allow a 260lb running back a career long TD reception, are we having this discussion?

I'm not saying Garrett is perfect, but some guys expect him to be and its ****ing ridiculous.

our coaching staff (top to bottom) is sub-par and beneath the "america's team" billing. it's like the yankees with the stump merrill regime or giants with ray hanley (after tuna left).

waste of time. we all know this, even jerry must by now.

the giants WERE SCORCHED for weeks in the secondary and we dinked and dunked setting up the second half (jason's claim to infamy in big games BTW) which of course was a total debacle after our 3rd string RB (overpaid like a top starter) fumbled late in the half.
