I just hope Pickens doesn't take snaps away from Mingo. We had a plan for Mingo when we traded for him and he was here first. He should be the priority when he returns.
I don't see why it would hurt at all. Tolbert disappears for games at a time and is in the last year of his deal and Flournoy is answering the call every chance he gets. Yeah, Ryan is #3.Just curious what y'all think. I'm all for getting the best players for your system on the field.
At this point, I think it's pretty clear Flournoy is developing and has a much higher ceiling than Tolbert.
As much as it hurts, I think you have to give Flournoy the nod at WR3 on the depth chart. He has earned it.
Why would it hurt. Tolbert is so soft. I would cut him as an example to the rest of the team. We need hard nosed tough players.Just curious what y'all think. I'm all for getting the best players for your system on the field.

Jerry is having fun. the only logic to his moves is for him to have fun. hes Al Davis now, he sees something shiny and goes and gets a new toy. What was the point of the Mingo trade if you’re never going to play him?
He should be.Just curious what y'all think. I'm all for getting the best players for your system on the field.

Once players are drafted, they need to stop thinking of players in terms of draft round.Has Mingo even played this year?
Hows he doing for that 4th rounder?
Who do we praise for that trade?
Was that McCarthey? Our GM? Who was the sly dog on that awesome trade?
Tolbert is no Flournoy.Tolbert has proven that he can't do the job but he was a 3 and Jerry likes to feel good about the picks so I expect them to continue pretending Tolbert is capable.
He is not. The Cowboys have that draft status thing that screws the roster up.Tolbert is no Flournoy.
Get out.I just hope Pickens doesn't take snaps away from Mingo. We had a plan for Mingo when we traded for him and he was here first. He should be the priority when he returns.
But it doesn't make any sense. He is not. The Cowboys have that draft status thing that screws the roster up.
Agree....you would actually do him a favor. He gets a chance to sign and prove his value to 31 other teamsPersonally if Lamb and Turpin both return this week I would be very tempted to just cut Tolbert. The fact the he played 91% of the offensive snaps last week is concerning though and suggests he is still going to be in the WR3 mix.
I think Blue is a writer.........Word count: 7,451.
He has personally worked out with Dak during the offseason since his rookie year. I'm sure they are close personal friends also.I was watching a Voch & Bryan B podcast & they were saying Dak really likes Tolbert
It's the Dallas Cowboys. No sense is the reality. But it doesn't make any sense.
Absolutely. I’m sure if you asked Tolbert if he would rather be WR 5/6 on the cowboys or get released and try to find a situation that’ll get him on the field before he hits free agency I imagine he would prefer his release.Agree....you would actually do him a favor. He gets a chance to sign and prove his value to 31 other teams
A ramblin' man.I think Blue is a writer.........
