When Lamb Returns, is Flournoy WR 3?

Just curious what y'all think. I'm all for getting the best players for your system on the field.

At this point, I think it's pretty clear Flournoy is developing and has a much higher ceiling than Tolbert.

As much as it hurts, I think you have to give Flournoy the nod at WR3 on the depth chart. He has earned it.
I don't see why it would hurt at all. Tolbert disappears for games at a time and is in the last year of his deal and Flournoy is answering the call every chance he gets. Yeah, Ryan is #3.

Has Mingo even played this year?

Hows he doing for that 4th rounder?

Who do we praise for that trade?

Was that McCarthey? Our GM? Who was the sly dog on that awesome trade?

Tolbert has proven that he can't do the job but he was a 3 and Jerry likes to feel good about the picks so I expect them to continue pretending Tolbert is capable.

Lamb Pickens & Flournoy are the top three talented receivers on the team period end of debate . Dak should have all three at his disposal the majority of the time to spread the defense thin . This team has to outscore everyone to have a chance .

Why would it hurt. Tolbert is so soft. I would cut him as an example to the rest of the team. We need hard nosed tough players.
Flourney better be the 3rd receiver when Lamb comes back. It is obvious Flourney is a much better AND much more physical receiver than softy Tolbert.

He should be.

Once players are drafted, they need to stop thinking of players in terms of draft round.

It's counterproductive.

Personally if Lamb and Turpin both return this week I would be very tempted to just cut Tolbert. The fact the he played 91% of the offensive snaps last week is concerning though and suggests he is still going to be in the WR3 mix.
Agree....you would actually do him a favor. He gets a chance to sign and prove his value to 31 other teams

Absolutely. I’m sure if you asked Tolbert if he would rather be WR 5/6 on the cowboys or get released and try to find a situation that’ll get him on the field before he hits free agency I imagine he would prefer his release.
