do u think were gonna be foolish agian n let Glenn cover moss?? i mean the last 2 meetings...glenn just got roasted

when newman is over there..is nice n silent.....

do u guys really think well allow glenn to step his *** over there agian??

i seriously dun trust glenn, hes good, but he tries to guess to much...he did good on plaxico...but i think moss is to much for him

i think we should allow newman to follow him all over the field...i mean he did keep steve smith silent a whole 2 quarters, till he got ejected..wat yall think?

When went in to the nickel Glenn was covering Matt Jones so the answer is yes most likely.

Last year is different because the Cowboys i think were in a Cover 3. Man to man Glenn i think could stick with moss.

Judging by what Washington did on Monday when ever they brought in Randel El, Santana was in the slot. So by having Newman cover the slot in nickle situations he will most likely be working against Moss any way. (I to want Newman covering Moss)

One thing for sure any time we see Randle El on a reverse the CB or Safety needs to stay with his man, don't worry about coming up to the line of scrimmage for run support. I'd much rather give up some yards on a reverse than a TD because we bit on the play.

I would be more afriad of Plaxico. He is a far better overall receiver than Moss. Moss has a lot of speed making him a serious deep threat. Plaxico is just flat out a better receiver. He can beat you all over the field. He doesn't have to speed to make the catch and run with it, but can make the catch anywhere. He is a Michael Irvin type receiver.

hope ur right...i hope they dun sit back n think "hey newmans in the slot, so F him..lets put moss on the outside cuz he had a good game last time agianst Glenn"..lol

plaxico is sort of a more seriouse threat..but not when henry is coverin his ***....

We need to take that WR screen play right out of their playbook. Play press coverage, or at least within 5 yards. If you get that play out of their playbook it changes a lot of what they do because they are very successful with it and the Refs allow Off pass interference on that play all the time.

The second WR is always blocking while the ball is in the air!

In the past I haven't really noticed our defense looking for matchups. It seems we've always just played people in their normal positions, although we do move Newman to cover the slot. But that's not predicated on which WR is playing the slot. I just haven't seen us put our best CB on the other team's best WR. Are we doing more of that this year?

we did it last year...Parcells didnt want smith havig a feild day on us..so he had newman dedicated to following smith..n did a good job

we also did it 2 years ago....our second meeting agianst owens...Newman completly shut him down....we also had newman follow randy moss across the feild that year in the opener...did a good job..besides the fact moss pushed off on 2 hitch routes in the 5 yard line in the endzone...

its like newmans confidence level goes to a complete diff level when we ask him to shut a reciever down

The Skins use a LOT of motion. Its almost comical at times, but they are going to be able to match up their recievers with our weaker corners.

Basically, each of our corners will be covering Moss at some point of the game.
