1.The lights seem to take longer than usual.
2.Theres always someone in front of you driving really slow.
3.Somebody doesn't let you into the next lane.
4.Theres always a traffic jam.
5.You just barely realized your'e about to run out of gas.
6.The distance you travel seems to be a little further away.

When early it goes well, but when late everything is against you. I hate being late but this seems to happen more often than not.

I am the type of person that is always early to work.

In the last 20 years, through 3-4 jobs, I have only been late twice.

However I have been running behind some and the lights issue does suck.

I have also noticed that maybe there is a part of murphy's law with the lights.

If I am going to work and every light I hit is green, it turns out to be a great day.
If I am going to work and every light I hit is red, it turns out to be a terrible day.

But at last it is so rare that most times it does not happen.

If your boss is not in the office when you get there....you are never late :D

Tell that to the time clock.

I personally haven't been late for work in months.

I had an appointment with an insured between 9 and 10 this morning - I set soft appointments because I can't guarantee to be anywhere at specific times.

Anyway - I left at 8:30, and my GPS led me straight to a construction zone - I had to go north 5 miles to get back south. With traffic, I lost 30 minutes.

I was speeding on the interstate, but as soon as I got off onto the state route, I got stuck between a 1970 something cadillac pulling a utility trailer with a riding lawnmower and other assorted lawn equipment. He never got about 30 mph.

So finally, I get there - at 9:54. Barely lucked out. But it made me late for all my other appts. :bang2:
