Where are all the guys saying Murray has no vision now?

He still has a propensity to bump into guys that are being blocked when he's into the secondary. Reminds me too much of my old electric football game. He did do a much better finding holes but that goes with the OL opening more holes.

Are you still going to suggest we should sit Murray and play Tanner? Sheesh. Quit listening to the mediots and watch the games. They needed the OL to come together and to actually stick with the run. Balance is the key. We imposed our will on their defense today.

Tex

He had runways to run through today. He did run up into TWill's back on one play though haha. can't hit them all, but he definitely ran smarter today. There was also one play (pass I think) where he waited for Witten to get there but the blocks never game. I liked that patience.

I stand by my criticism that he lacks superior vision. I never questioned his heart, which he showed today. I still would like to see Dunbar playing some series. The holes the O line opened today were mammoth. But kudos to Murray for running hard and through them.

how does a running back run forty yards down field and is tackled by and into the rear end of his receiver blocking for him and you still think he doesn't have a vision problem....

If next week Murray runs 20 times for 48 yards, where will you be.....

Lol Tex. They're all over your thread. They were clearly hoping their little vision witch hunt would pan out. DeMarco is the best RB on the team at this time and, with an offensive line in front of him blocking like they finally understand the zone blocking scheme, he will do just fine this year.

Nice post Tex.

Yes. Those of us questioning his vision actually want him to play poorly just so we can thump our chests when he runs into the back of his blockers.

Amazing how a guy with such poor vision average 4.7 ypc on his career. I guess it's just from playing behind all those great OLs.

.... or maybe people really don't know what they're talking about, and just made typical emotional knee jerk reactions fans typically make after losses and embarrassed themselves.

Hmmm... which is more likely?

1. He proved again, you get him involved we win!
2. He proved Week 2 was on the lack of commitment to te run, not on he and the OL.
3. Weeks 1 and 3 prove that Romo is not need to shoulder the load for this team to win.
4. Romo should always remain on a pitch count. No more than 30 passes a game unless were down 2 TDS IN THE SECOND HALF!!
5. The oline proved it can wear down teams if committed to the run. See Murray's stats week 1 & 3!
6. Waters is not the savior to our run game, calling runs plays and stickin to them is!
7. Our defense is built to overcome Romo finally if JG, JJ and more importantly Romo refuses to stick to the run

I'll be happy because it means we won. We've never lost when he's had 18+ carries!! I'll be happier if he gets 25+ carries regardless of yards because that means Romo is protected from himself in the passing game. Murray's attempts are key every week, not yardage. Less Romo is More!!!

If that's the case, the more comfortable our oline gets with the zone blocking scheme, the happier you will be. Today was a good step forward. ;)

Someone on one of the blogs broke down Murrays' runs from last week, and almost all of them failed because of problems with the line. Clearly the line was blocking better this week.

I don't care

what the blocking scheme is, I don't want to see Romo ever throwing more than 30 times a game. The more he passes, the closer we get to a certain loss! Our gameplans should always center around Dez and Murray! ALWAYS!!
