Is there a place where I can send a football to be signed by a Cowboys player/s? Any information would be helpful =). I want to surprise my son for his birthday.

My brother used to do this many years ago.
Took 6 months to get a card signed by Joe Montana. but that was mid 80's.

Contact the team, and I think you send it to their HQ in Valley Ranch.

But now days, they may not do this, unless they can verify you are not a dealer to resale it.

I don't know if that is possible.

1. Go to training camp and there will be some opportunities to get a player to sign it, but you probably can't count on a specific player signing it.

2. I think there might be some autograph "shows" where players sign. I know it happens with past players, but I think current players occasionally do it.

3. Players sometimes go to events for a sponsor and are somewhat accessible for autographs.

4. Some of the Tour Packages for people attending a game include getting to meet with some players.

5. You could just buy one from a dealer.

If you really really want to get one, hire a kid in a wheelchair and take him to training camp. That's what some of the shady collectibles dealers do. I've seen a guy with a box full of footballs and each time the players come and go from practice or the hotel in training camp he would give one to the kid and the kid would wheel up to the front of the line.

Yeah. I caught Wittens compression sleeve in the tunnel after opening day 2 years back and have been trying to figure out a way to get it signed myself...

There's a place in Grapevine Mills Mall that has a mailing list. Every few months they send out an email of players you can pay to get an article signed. You mail your stuff to them and pay, and they'll get it signed for you. Here's an excerpt of the last email with all of the contact information.

I'm just curious why you truncated merchandise? Was there a word limit on the title??? It took me a minute to decipher what "merch" meant.

Would you or anyone else know how to contact the team?

this is from their website, AT&T Stadium
Address (Mailing)
One AT&T Way
Arlington, TX 76011

may not be a good idea to mail it to the stadium. I would call or email them to be sure

not sure about HQ in valley ranch.
I am sure a google search will show it.

you can go to their website, click on TEAM, then click on 2014 MEDIA GUIDE
it will down load the media guide. In there you can find addresses to their main HQ.

Thanks Jazzcat, I found the media guide and the number for the public relations office which I will give it a try and see what they say.

You can send merch to my house. I promise I'll sign it when I'm done with it.

Tweet Dez and offer him a couple of dollars, he'll jump at it.

So the public relations office said they dont accept merchandise to have signed but I can send a letter to a player and they can send a signed card in return. I guess that's better than nothing and having to wait for players to do signing events

Your best bet would be to go to training camp.

Gone are the days of FedEx'ing a football to the facility with a letter and the players passing it around and mailing it back.

Maybe try sending your own birthday card. If that works and depending how long it takes to get it back, send the same card multiple times. And put the kids' name on it. That will help them see it's for personal use and not to re-sell.
