Where Does Ginn Go?

He's not working out after all at the Bucks Pro Day today.

Where do you see him going in the draft? With his lack of workouts, I think he'll have a hard time cracking the top ten anymore. It's possible he'll be there at #22.

If he's there and the draft unfolds as you'd expect (no other significant drops), do you pull the trigger?

Ginn isn't likely to be even a first day pick if he keeps this up. He is a one dimensional player, who probably should have stayed in school for his last year to work on his WR skills. He'll make a good return man, but I don't see him beyond that.

Ginn Jr. go hurt by his own teammates jumping on him at one time, what a dumb way to get hurt. That's why I don't like all that endzone celebrating!

Ginn really needs to improve on his route running if he wants to be successful in the NFL and I think he can and will be in a few years.

He is one of those guys I would take in the 2nd round if I had no real needs at the time because he can be killer on special teams and can have a go at CB or WR.

He skipped the combine and the his pro day workout.......dumb, real dumb.

If the guy is scared to run some routes in front of the scouts, then I dont wont him. No way I burn the #22 pick on this fool.

If you want a receiver, there are better ones available than Ginn.

I would not pull the trigger on a young WR who has super speed but is green at the position, runs questionable routes, and lacks strength.

Nope, I'm not in favor of Gin unless the coaches clearly see him as something I don't see. I think he should have stayed in school and tried to see if he could be the #1 guy on his college team and prove something.

He is hurt.... not skipping workouts because he is a deadbeat.

stop you know he is a 1st-2nd rounder and if we got him I wouldn't be mad at all it would be better if we got him in the 2nd round but who knows.

no...I'd take virtually all the other top rated WR's over him

:hammer: i agree. His speed allowed him to do certain things at the college level that he wont be able to do in the NFL. He'll be a good return guy, but don't see him ever being a top flite receiver.

I suspect he'll go where I've been saying he'll go all along...bottom 3rd of the first. I'm well documented in saying that for the last year or so.

Draft 'experts' somehow elevated him to top 10...and it becomes a hate the player environment instead of the morons that incorrectly ranked him so high.

Now maybe he's 'slipping' back down to my original expectation. Doesn't make him less of a player than I knew he was all along, just to those who artificially inflated him to begin with.

For those that say he's a 'one dimensional' player....that dimension would be all he does is score touchdowns from anywhere on the field. Cris Carter syndrome.

Ginn made Gonzalez a commidity, not the other way around. Ginn was the guy that was game planned for.

Too many get hung up on 'lack of size', 'lack of strength', yet there are players competing in the NFL today that fit those same descriptions.

Too many of you forgot the electricity you felt in the seat of your pants when Deion was awaiting a punt, or when Deion took a reverse. I haven't, I was blessed to be reminded of it for the last 3 years.

I'll go with my own eyes...not with your mock drafts, your draft experts, your draft catch phrases. I seen the player play week in week out...you caught a couple of games...you ape the talking heads.

You want lightening in a bottle...you draft Ginn, not the underwear olympic winners.

So we'll never really know the true non-OSU track 40 yard dash time.

I guess it depends on who's available at 22 along w/ Ginn. I think he could be special. The only 2 receivers I would take ahead of him are Calvin Johnson and Dwayne Jarrett.

I wouldn't cry if he was our pick though.

Ginn is the guy I want us to draft most.

It's a huge risk, but he fits in perfectly with our team for this year and in the future. And I think you have to take the risk when you consider his potential. At 22, you're not gonna get absolute sure things anyway.

He's the fastest football player I've ever seen.

Ginn goes with orange juice or grapefruit juice, which I think is better.

Though I am a "Bowe guy", Ginn does possess the one element the offense lacks in Dallas....."game plan changing speed".

Even if he is only a decoy, can you imagine defensive coordinators trying to figure out away to stop that offense with a guy with his speed?? Garrett and Sparano who have a field day with those chess pieces.

You have a good point my friend. A lot of us get caught up with numbers, this and that, and sometimes you really do have to go by what you see.

Last year I read something on Devin Hester that blew me away, and that's why I had him rated high on my draft board. One blurb about him said, " when ever he gets the ball, he always does something the leave the crowd in awe. He does something that makes you go wow!"

After reading that, I was sold on Hester. We shall see about Ginn.
