Im prettty sure Tyrone Crawford practiced yesterday. Yet there has been nothing said about him, and honestly haven't heard much about him period. Is there any saviors on this defensive line lol. I did read that Selvie had pads on which is somewhat of a relief.

Broaddus has said that Crawford isn't knocking the OLs hands away consistently so he gets slowed down too much that way on the pass rush. It seems to be a problem among the young guys.

Last I read was that Broaddus believes Crawford needs to work on his hand technique in order to get better as a pass rusher. The reports say he has strength but he relies on his bull rush too much with limited other pass rush moves.

It is obvious to me that he is in the process of learning these new techniques.. They are used to especially on rushing downs to sit down on the tackles shoulder and set that edge which means you dance with him for a bit. Marinelli asks his linemen to chop the OLs hands away as part of your first steps and use various moves to keep them off like a club, rip and swim. Crawford is slowly learning the techniques and people need to remember h was hurt last season so this is for many things his first year in the system.

This defense is going to take time both from a suspension and injury standpoint but also from young guys on the line learning the proper techniques and repping them into habits. I love stuff like this. It's player development and Marinelli is the best in the business in this regard.

I'm the opposite...I want to see all the guys that eventually make the team get worked everyday! Vets, rookies, coaches.

I hope they get worked for being the embarrassment that they have seemed to have earned. It's about time for some Respect from this team, and if they have to work to get some respect? Work their *** off.

Let the strong survive for the first game of the season.
