As long as this is a police matter I doubt the organization will make any public comments I do not doubt that JJ has spoken to Davis and that is all that matters.

They can't release a simple statement that indicates they wish Keith well?

A classy organization would do that. Right now it seems like the organization is saying "we will wish Keith a speedy recovery if and when it turns out that he was an innocent victim"

If the organization has spoken to Davis which likely they have then that is what matters not that Jerry says it to the media or fans. The media was not shot nor were the fans shot so why make the comment public? If you want to slam Jerry fine but it appears you go out of your way to slam Jones at every turn

I'm slamming him here because I think that when a member of a team has something unfortunate happening that the classy thing to do is to issue some sort of statement wishing the guy a speedy recovery. Otherwise you foster the perception that you don't give a crap about the guy.

I don't remember Dan Rooney or Bill Cowher seeking out the Pittsburgh Press to comment on Ben's wreck.

It just seems to me some are over reacting to every action or inaction of the team. I don't have a pressing need to hear from Bill or Jerry on this. Not sure why anyone does. The website addressed it. There have been articles. Can't the team decide too much is being made of something?
