Where Is the Media Scrutiny of the Eagles?

Do they get a free pass because of Sanchez playing?

Pretty sure if it was reversed and Dallas blew out Philly to go to 9-3 and was staring at a 1 seed, then loses its next 3 straight, 2 being at home, and eliminated from the playoffs all in 3 weeks, media would rip this team apart. And talk about our Decembers.

Just wondering why we are the only ones who ever got this treatment? Teams fall apart every single year. But they just gloss over it.

Feels great to be on that other side this year! 3-0 in December and really, we dominated every game. I know the scores of the Eagles/Bears games were close but we dominated them if you watched.

I just thought there would be more scrutiny to the Eagles. Can't stand that team or Chip Kelly.

Dexter nailed it above: No one cares. Interestingly, I caught some of Deion on tonight's NFL Network post game. He actually said he said earlier in the season that Mark Sanchez was no better than a backup, but that his good play proved him wrong. He said, and I'm paraphrasing, that Sanchez played well this season outside of one bad play on Saturday. Umm, okay.

I didn't think the score of the Bears game was very close.

They have been getting a thrashing IMO. They are playing with a backup quarterback. Its hard to tell how bad or good they'd be with Foles out there but there is a argument to be made that they would be better. Foles is a better QB than Sanchez. I'm just not sure by how much.

He never gives Romo that pass. He loves Jerry but hates everyone else on the Cowboys. He's a weird dude

Hmm, I never give Romo a pass? You are completely wrong, find one post by me blaming him for anything. Guess what? You won't! I don't like Garrett and that is all.

I think you have me mixed up with someone else......................

Add: Ok, you are referring to Sanders, I hope :)

I'm just curious who exactly is "the media"? I always hear fans say this lol. Like for instance, they are getting KILLED in their city. Isn't that the media? Or do they not matter? Or is "the media" BSPN or Fox Sports?

They are getting thrashed by the media. The worldwide media? Maybe not. But like Dexter said, it has something to do with people simply not caring.

Yeah, people definitely mean the national media. In some small corner of the world, today's Buffalo Bills outcome actually mattered to someone and some newspaperman. ;)

Right lol. But to say they aren't getting scrutinized? The East Coast media is harsh. Far harsher than anything down here in Texas. And they are going for heads.

Michael Irving ripped them a new one on the NFL game post game show. But he is a Cowboy that doesn't really count.

LOL. funny you used the Bills in your example. I am in Albany NY. For those that aren't familiar, we are about a 5 hour drive from Buffalo. Our local CBS affiliate today chose to air Bills/ Raiders instead of the Dallas game. When I found out late last night, I fired off an email to management telling them it was a poor choice. As it turns out, the Bills/Raiders was a much better game, but the station's decision I still disagree with.

I cannot complain though. I believe this year I will end up seeing 12 out of the 16 games...and this is by staying home without the NFL Ticket this year. 12 of 16 games, without having to go to a bar. That's pretty good, considering where I live.

I love when the media tried to prop up Nick Foles. He's trash and will have Chip Kelly running back to college. His style is not sustainable in the NFL.

dude they are ready to burn philly down. Fans are outraged. To make matters worse...they will see Dallas in playoffs in a year that Chip Kelly was supposed to take league by storm.
