Well? Anyone? I was waiting and waiting all week for someone to rue over us not taking him because we had him rated in the "top 5" of the board. you guys who whined and whined about fred and t will are eating crow and i want you to own up. goes to show no poster will ever be more knowledgble then ANY (yes including the trainwreck that is JJ) professional level coach, scout, and even GM. i dislike JJ as a GM like everyone else but goes to show you arm chair GMS and scouts know nothing.

*sigh*

As if 9 games into the year tells the whole story... Context is everything when it comes to rueing.

T-Fred's and T-Will's play has been solid enough that even if folks still lament not drafting Floyd, they're not unhappy with those guys.

Also, considering we have a bunch of guys on the D-Line that I think even the most diehard fan couldn't name without looking it up, I think Floyd would've played AND been a huge help to the line. But considering how things have gone, injury-wise, the guy would've been on IR by now.

Agreed. Making a judgment after 9 games on draft picks is showing he knows nothing. Yes our 32nd ranked defense certainly doesn't need any help at all.

With last draft, I strongly felt that O-Line needed help and so I was very happy with TFred selection and he is playing very well so it's all good, and I don't care what Floyd is doing or will be doing has no bearing on Cowboys, until we play them again.

We had two pressing problems at the time of the draft [3 actually] but the offensive line was more important
unless protecting Romo wasn't urgent.Could we have taken both Floyd and Fred very very chancy.
It's the defense's turn this 2014 draft and I will be amazed if the line isn't addressed then and more then once.
But don't have a fit if the BPA isn't a defensive lineman in the first round.

On a side note, anyone notice the irony in a post skewering fans for questioning the GM, but has an anti-Jerry Jones avi.

He-larious. lol

This coming from a person who has Dana Owens as their avi 24/7 Com-ical. you know she isn't a real queen right? also there was no questioning regarding the GM nor was I asking for an opinion. L2read instead of swapping your new dana owens avi bro and texting at movie theaters.

We will see what he becomes, but how can anyone root for a team that has one playoff win in 17 years now and think the GM above being questioned?? That is beyond ridiculous.

Oh you got me there...

No, you were calling out fans for questioning the GM and the move to skip over Floyd. You called them know-nothings for wanting to draft a guy who played at a position of need. I simply pointed out the irony of you trying to call out fans for doing virtually the same thing that you've done yourself.

I switched through the games last night (Baylor-OK, Stanford-OR, and MN-Wash) and didn't see all of Floyd's play. Although, I didn't see him do anything last night. Maybe I missed something. No one has any right to complain about JJ and the 2013 draft. He did well and deserves credit along with his scouts. Nothing for Garrett because he did absolutely jack squat in the war room on draft day.

If only JJ would have taken either RB Lacy or TE Jordan Reed in the 2nd instead of Escobar, this would have been one of the best drafts in the league, maybe top 20 or 30 perhaps:) (I don't know). Still early though.

We drafted guys that can play. But we once again ignored glaring needs. The Floyd anger I more over that then saying Frederick or Williams aren't good. When genius Jerry makes statements like the D line is a position of strength its hard to take him serious.

When he said it it was.

When it was said, our starters were Ware, Ratliff, Hatcher, and Spencer with Crawford and a few others as backups.

When it was said, he was telling the truth.
