Well? Anyone? I was waiting and waiting all week for someone to rue over us not taking him because we had him rated in the "top 5" of the board. you guys who whined and whined about fred and t will are eating crow and i want you to own up. goes to show no poster will ever be more knowledgble then ANY (yes including the trainwreck that is JJ) professional level coach, scout, and even GM. i dislike JJ as a GM like everyone else but goes to show you arm chair GMS and scouts know nothing.

He's not coached by Ron Marinelli lol.

Ugh, yet another prime example of why "call-out" threads should be banned. I realize he isn't targeting a specific poster, but come on, this is just a bad vibe.

Actually she owned you on all points and yet you declare yourself the winner by sticking your fingers in your ears and say "Na na na na na, I win"

actually he/she didnt "own" me at any points. just because he/she does not know how to interpret writing correctly isn't my fault. now im just waiting to be banned by him/her or BP because of the humilitation i caused on an internet family friendly forum. :O

We will see what he becomes, but how can anyone root for a team that has one playoff win in 17 years now and think the GM above being questioned?? That is beyond ridiculous.

if you want to call [questioning] the contention in the two opposing camps with that I would differ. Rather it's the endless blaming that never ends and as if we have never heard that complaint before. Not all the Jerry haters are dumb ***** but many are.Every time something negative happens there may be other reason then just JJones. I bet ya the Jones supporters would agree that Jones isn't the top half of the GM group.

I was wrong about Frederick, and didn't want Floyd, wanted Reid. I wanted OL stressed heavily and would've liked more attention. At the time, I was heavily frustrated because it seemed like we got very little return for dropping a half round (3rd) when the Pats seemed to clean up for the same range. I don't disagree with the pick now (conveniently), and want OL early in the draft until they figure it out. I knew little about Frederick and felt like it was the last resort or big reach when later information came out that this was far from the case.

Whatever. Forget Floyd.

There are really only 3 players that were selected from Escobar to TWill that are worth mentioning.

Eddie Lacy - needs no intro
Larry Worford - OG Starter for Lions every game
Brian Winters - OG Starter for jets last 5 games

I don't see anyone else really contributing right now. But the 3 above would be starting for us this weekend and maybe all year :)

in all seriousness, they deserve a lot of credit for recognizing T-Fred was undervalued and jumping on that. i know people say he may have been there, later, but i'm glad we got him in the 1st. I wasn't too excited about T-Will but the move has paid off big time.
while i understand the OP's point, i don't understand why you feel the need to call out everyone who had a problem with the pick. it was a very controversial move that was understandably criticized. Its not as though we as fans ranked Floyd so high because we watched all of his games. We all have access to the same media reports and base our knowledge on those reports. The move paid off, and they proved a lot of people wrong. it happens.

I'll take our 2 for 1 deal.
Now, if we had taken Escobar and Williams and not addressed either line in any manner, you would have real rueage.
But both Freddy and Williams were very nice acquisitions.
Floyd could end up being good too, by the way.

Ha! It's not an argument if one is talking to himself.

People can see how the discussion flowed. I see no reason to stick a fork in him to tell him he's done. lol

This coming from a person who has Dana Owens as their avi 24/7 Com-ical. you know she isn't a real queen right? also there was no questioning regarding the GM nor was I asking for an opinion. L2read instead of swapping your new dana owens avi bro and texting at movie theaters.

Some may call her a sell out but she is quite an intelligent businesswoman who was able to begin a career as rapper, onto Television acting, and then onto movies. Who can really act these days anyway? She's done pretty well financially; I would think her family will benefit from her work ethic and financial success. That is a lot more than could be said about a lot of "real men" these days...her family will be comfortable for the rest of her life as well as into the future and affording her loved ones opportunities that most men cannot.

Problem isn't Floyd vs Frederick. It's having him so high on our board and not drafting him. Why have a board?

As I say that, if the board on your wall shows Randle as a 3rd and Zac Stacy not on it at all, maybe it's best not to follow it.

When he said it it was.

When it was said, our starters were Ware, Ratliff, Hatcher, and Spencer with Crawford and a few others as backups.

When it was said, he was telling the truth.

I agree. 2013 didn't need more padding when you compare the deficiencies of the entire teams positional needs. I said it before the draft on espn and I will say it here now...2014 is a D Line Draft. One year later with age now starting to creep the dline needs a few more bulls to compete.
