So far, considering the places I have visited in this world, I would have to say the Oregon Coast. It's just a beautiful stretch of unforgettable oceanfront landscape. I don't mind that it isn't a sunny paradise filled with sandy hot beaches. The beaches are not crowded and wildlife can be found abundantly in their natural environment. There is some kind of magical aura about it and I find it incredibly tranquil in it's almost melancholy tone.

I'm probably also incredibly bias as my grandparents took me there a lot when I was young. So, my opinion admittedly is tethered to strong feelings of nostalgia. Still, I love it there. I'm actually very much considering moving that direction when I reach my retirement days. :)

We went over to the Yachats/Florence area for storm watching, got a couple of bottles of wine, some freshly steamed crabs and were awestruck at the power we were seeing.

Friend of mine told me "If you can afford it, take your family on a Disney cruise." He wasn't wrong, it was awesome! 5 Star service, food, and fun.

GMO, where's the peeps? Aliens get them? That thing out in the middle of the ocean, lit up like that, is an abducting alien's dreamboat. One stop shopping for all different sizes of people.

I like Cannon Beach over there, a quiet and quaint place. I usually try to get through Oregon as fast as possible though

When I was young, I spent a few of my entire summers on my Grandfather's farm in Ireland. The memories are still so vivid after over 40 years that I don't know if I will ever experience that magnitude of adventure and exploration again. Those experiences are by far my favorites.

Cozumel for me. I have been there over a hundred different times and know all of the dive shops and many locals. I get carte blanche to dive anywhere around the island

I have also certified many divers on trips with a select few outfits. There are better destinations around the globe but Cozumel is home to me

LOL Not a fan? I'm guessing the P word not to be spoken of around here?

This gave me a good chuckle.

Seaside Heights, NJ because I've been going there since I was a baby
New Forest area of England (such as Lymington, New Milton, Ringwood, and several others) because I've got lots of family and friends there. Definitely more family and probably more friends in England than I do in the US.
Bournemouth, England for similar reasons, and my English football club is there.
London, England because, well, it's London.
Las Vegas because, well, it's Las Vegas.
Cologne, Germany because I watched Germany win the World Cup there, and it's a fun city.
Hawaii - Any explanation needed?

US Virgin Islands.
Stayed at Bolongo Bay resort on St Thomas a few year ago and loved it.

Belize and Cozumel because I scuba dive.

The only place I have ever scuba dived was Cozumel. I took the hour-long lesson at the hotel and the for a small fee they take you scuba diving. I was a little nervous at 1st, but the instructors do an incredible job at giving you the complete experience for non-certified divers, and did an excellent job making sure everyone was safe...still one of my favourite life experiences.

Of course, anywhere in the Canadian Rockies would suit me. Nothing better than mountain air.

A few weeks back a freight train that was conducting a crew change and the breaks either let go or was not set properly and plummeted in a creek, killing all 3 crew members. The crew was not deemed negligible in the incident.
