I do not have the answer to your questions. Neither does anybody else here.

What I am saying is there is no use complaining about it because there is no changing it. It is like yelling at the ref in basketball about getting called for travel, only thing your going to do is get a technical, they are not going to reverse it.

I understand, but that is not going to stop me from bringing it up.

We have seen owens get this penalty when just flipping the ball back on the grass.

ITs a penalty, theres no grey area. This was a crucial moment. Make the call.

Very true. Owens does get called all the time for it.
I guess its just my bias right now.
I was cheering for the Steelers, I didn't care if they got #6. I live in Phoenix and it has been hell this postseason.
I am happy to hear and see all the Cards fans (especially my obnoxiously drunk friends yelling at me what are the Cowboys doing right now! What are the Cowboys doing! HUH HUH!?!) dejected right now.

I have to agree here. There was some very favorable officiating yet again for the steelers. Those two personal foul penalties on the same drive were ridiculous. And the running into the holder was bad too.

again, I dont care who won the game, meant nothing to me.

Its just an obvious miss. I never buy the officials give the steelers calls crap. I dont think anytime gets officiated differently, but I am rethinking the steelers thing.

this was obvious and important.

None of the Cards fans that I was with even yelled about missing that call. They were all pissed that the last fumble by Warner wasn't even reviewed, but that was an obvious fumble from my first look.

well no offense, but their not intelligent football fans.

15 yards difference on a kick is enormous.

on a kick inside the last 30 seconds of the superbowl when you have two timeouts and the best wr in the game is unmeasureable.

Why would I take offense to that? :laugh2: I totally agree.

They were probably all just in shell shock I guess, which is understandable.

Hopefully the media presses this to the league and they have to admit mistake.

Yea i saw that too.

I agree.

I said that to my mom and sister, that should be an excessive celebration penalty, he used the ball as a prop, then I remember he's a Steeler so it is ok.

He said that Holmes should have been flagged for using the ball as a prop and that the Ref let it go.

It looks like Holmes is making a ketchup sandwich. In the 2006 draft, we took the wrong player out of Ohio State. The Cowboys got Barbie, and the Steelers took a Super Bowl MVP. I remember when he was drafted, "the chin" was celebrating like crazy.

Now everyone is seeing what I said a while ago. The r****** isn't bad. It's just biased, and games are called to favor certain teams, and not others.

The "human element" is deciding games. I cant wait until they remove that "flaw" in the games.

How the heck is that fair? Ever?

"Its part of the game" - doesnt make sense

The refs aren't going to make that call in a million years.

for excessive celebration ?

why, using the ball as a prop is one of their main talking points and a point of emphasis all season long.

why cant they call it, it doesnt affect the TD, just the kickoff.

if rules only apply at times why have it?

During the Super Bowl, they're going to be gunshy in calling some penalties.

The guy made a Super Bowl winning catch. They're not going to penalize him for that, especially in the mayhem that ensued.

It looked like he was doing the Lebron James pregame ritual powder throw.
