Don Meredith in 1960 was drafted by the Bears in the 3rd round and traded to the Cowboys (who were not allowed to draft players) for draft picks in the future. I am guessing he was also drafted by the Patriots of the AFL.

His road roommate in 1960 would be...Frank Clarke?

Meredith and Lilly were both drafted by the AFL's Dallas Texans, not the Boston Patriots.

Mel Renfro wasn't drafted until 1964, and the Oakland Raiders took him in the AFL draft.

EDIT: Wait wait, no, I missed the part where it says that "I was drafted by the Boston Patriots".

Considering that LeBaron played for the Commanders before, I doubt that he was drafted by the Patriots in 1960.

I would guess either Bob Lilly Or Chuck Howley.

He probably still referred to them as an expansion team much like the way I still consider the Texans an expansion team.
