Got this idea from the thread about the possibility of an ex-Cowboy joining Jimmy Johnson on Fox's NFL Pregame Show. Hope I didn't forget a big name player and/or broadcaster. I've left an "Other" option in case ya want to vote for Mike Ditka, Rodney Peete or some of the others who weren't career Cowboys players or maybe don't get as much national exposure in their broadcasting career. I'm curious who Cowboys fans think does the best job in their broadcasting career after football.

Some of these greats have to lose so I just wanna say that all of them do a great job and I'm happy that we get to forever frustrate Cowboys haters with many of our players landing in key broadcasting positions. The haters can't escape! BWAHAHAHA :D

I gotta go with Darren Woodson, probably because he's one of the newer guys. I think he'll have a lot of success in this business. He seems like a natural. I was very tempted to vote for Jimmy Johnson because I consider any analysis by him as good as hearing it from Parcells. Aikman is also another guy I enjoy listening to during the games, as well as Moose. I'm also a big fan of James Washington on the radio, I think he does a great job! For all the respect I have for him as a player, I'm not as big on Michael Irvin, although I did like watching him on informal shows such as The Best Damn Sports Show. Like most Cowboys fans, I can't stand Deion Sanders. I'm not sure Emmitt Smith is cut out for the business either. IMO, Babe Laufenberg does as good a job as any company man at calling the games. He usually has some great pointers on Parcells strategy.

I voted for Troy but I also like Darren Woodson and Moose.

Jimmy is enjoyable too most of the time but I honestly don't think he adds that much of any real depth.

I am not a fan of Michael Irvin, never have been, but there are times when I enjoy what he has to say, just not the way he says it.

I never considered Babe Laufenberg a Cowboy since the only time he saw the field he sucked worse than Ryan Leaf. He is a good radio guy though the few times I have listened to him on the internet.

Deion is almost as annoying as Joe Theisemann. I get angry anytime I see his ugly mug or hear his smarmy voice.

I have that problem with Irvin too and I am a fan of him. LOL I get the feeling some of the guys on the set feel that way at times too. What I enjoy about Irvin is that he sometimes is the only one with the guts to blurt something out the way no one probably wants to hear it (like his rap on our receivers last year), his interviews that many people probably couldn't get with some of the more controversial players, and his rampant homer mentality for the Cowboys and Miami. Gotta love someone who still cherishes his roots. :p:
