We need to have a good game plan with new wrinkles. The same old stuff isn't gonna cut it! We also need to come out with a swagger and hit them in the mouth early. I worry their college offense might be to much for a dinosaur like Rod to adjust too.

:lmao2:

Adjustments on both sides of the ball I know linnehans capable of putting together an attack but I'm not sure Rod has anything to replace Sean Lee at least he hasn't shown it in the past.

And if the coordinator start out with stupid in the game the other factor is does Jason have the peanuts to do anything about it

I have this feeling in the pit of my stomach that were about to start a downward spiral that wont end well. Hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see a good outcome to this season. With Zeke's suspension and the injuries, I aint feeling good about this game and then the demoralizing that could instill itself in the team could snowball to a top ten draft pick this year. Just a gut feeling I have when I think about the Boys finish to this season. Call me crazy if you like, but thats what I'm feeling. I am seeing it all slip away and end in a quagmire. Hopefully I am wrong.

Actually, for me worst case is not a spiral but an 8 or 9 win fizzle. No playoffs, Garrett stays, crappy draft pick, same excuses. A outright spiral might end this red headed horror show. Might.

Good point and could be worse than a total tank.

Most of us know the deck is stacked against us here on out.

One of my biggest concerns is the lack of depth and quality backups on this roster. The “next man up” jargon doesn’t hold much water now does it? Not with this current Cowboys team anyhow.

It is what it is. Play on and hope for the best but be prepared for the opposite.

I hate the Eagles and I hate their fans worse. The absolute worst week to have 4 of the best Cowboys players out. Not having Zeke is bad enough but no Smith now on top of no Lee and I absolutely have no excitement for this game tonight. I hate feeling this way. Helman actually wrote a great article about not having fun covering the team this year. It's just a weird season. I don't know which losses were worse, The two that felt like they could of won against the Rams and Packers or the two where they had absolutely no shot. I hope they prove me wrong because I am so sick of the Eagle's love train that's on every network. I can't even get away from it on here. I really don't understand that, But everything concerns me tonight. It's at home and they have no home field advantage and I hope it doesn't come down to a Field Goal either because I don't trust Nugent either. Please Cowboys, Find a way to win tonight. I don't think they will but I hope they prove me wrong.

Philadelphia is about a 4.5 point favorite...and the Cowboys will be fortunate to remain in that arena with a chance to win it in the end.

The Eagles come out of the bye week, well rested and healthier than they have been in weeks...and at 8-1, oh boy.

They have the no. 2 scoring offense in the NFL, because they can do so many things. (31.4 ppg) They also have topped 120 yards a game rushing, for the past five weeks.

Losing Tyrone Smith and Sean Lee, both last week, they crumbled on both offense and defense. Dak Prescott was sacked a career high, eight times, and the strength of the Philadelphia defense is it's defensive line.

One can't wish for a handful of turnovers for Dallas, as that would, at this time, only be wishful dreaming.

This fan's biggest fear, is just actually staying in the game with a chance for victory.

Several, will the coaching staff now try to over compensate for the left tackle ? Meaning, they hang their hat on that both Green and Bell got help 6 times (out of how many offensive snaps - 35ish) so now will they go overboard which means passing game bogs down. From there its just a slippery slope - can our offensive line run block, can the defense front and back hold up.
Why oh why do we have no-one like a Fletcher Cox next to Collins, and listen tonight how glowingly the commentators will talk about him. Now close your eyes, and imagine a player like that at 1-tech next to Collins/Irving (brings a smile to my face !)
Can our young secondary hold up, and what will they do with Auwsie.

And above all, its a prime time game, I want, but fear that it will be a repeat of yester-year when on season ending games to get into the playoffs we would play the Eagles or Giants and get blown out with a lackluster performance. Im praying as hard as I can that does not happen, this is (as someone already said) the fork in the road - I pray we take the fork going up, not down ...
