Which Former First-Round Pick has the Biggest Impact?

Give us the list of options...
Fowler
Pickens
Turner
Thomas
Murray
Elam
Sanders

Also. Don't forget we have Parris Campbell, a second rounder. Also, Javonte Williams 2nd round.

Did I miss anyone?

I really don’t like to speculate on players it can lead to disappointments, especially when you’re bringing in a player that went bust for another team. Most of these first round picks that go bust for their original team don’t pan out elsewhere. We’ll see how it plays out in camp and this season.

Pickens because even if all are healthy and productive, Pickens will get more playing time.

Excluding guys we drafted.

This one is easy for me. George Pickens is the obvious answer. But I'm also going with Solomon Thomas.

He gives us another legit rotational piece that we haven't had recently.
Totally agree Pickens will be hard to stop,he and Cee Dee ,can't wait to watch.Solomon Thomas looks like a good fit.Two solid additions to a good off season, Thomas will be a good pairing with Osa on 3rd down and long working toward the quarterback,he is athletic enough to get around interior Olinemen, and quick enough to avoid blocks and makes sound tackles. He is listed at 6-4 256 and gives you some pass rush as well.

Payton Turner is another one.
Yeah, I think those are the one we picked up this year: Elam, Thomas, Murray, Turner and Fowler. I think Elam and Murray are liable to get the most opportunity. Elam because Diggs is sideline and Revel may be as well. Murray because Overshown is sidelined and we are short on qualified starting linebackers. I think Murray may have the biggest impact.

Those new leaders can't over lead and Micah not be leading this will cause a culture shift in the locker room that will cause issues!
Culture :lmao:

That is getting old.
And is overblown.

How about the changes are for the good of the team. Period.

Define bust.

Many 1st round picks were dissappointments relative to their draft status but still had soild NFL careers.

We've seen guys like Dante Fowler be a solid contribilutor to the Cowboys and Commodes despite not living up to expectations of the 3rd overall pick in his draft class.

Right. Parcells was onto something with the approach.

A lot of these guys do better when they don't have to be the main guy. Less pressure on him to be the man really helped Fowler start playing like he was one of the men.

When you look at this roster, it really has the potential to be stacked.

My definition of a bust is a high round draft pick who didn’t live up to their draft status, resulting in them being released or allowed to walk after their rookie contract. Some have gone on to contribute and be serviceable, but never as good as some thought they would be. There’s a reason they’re having to sign cheap one year prove it deals. If they weren’t busts and their original team couldn’t afford them, they would be signing lucrative multi year free agent deals.
