Over the last 22 years(1992-2013) what teams would you trade results with? The negativity around here is largely worse than where I live in Maryland. I'm surrounded by Commanders, Eagles and Ravens fans and I see more Cowboy abuse here than I get from other fans.

If you say New England, join the club. I'm sure every fan base would trade with them. So who else??? PITT, NYG, GB, BAL, DEN. They all have multiple Super Bowls. PHI and their ZERO Lombardis? SF has one, but some lean years. INDY, TB, STL, NO also have one. SD, CHI, SEA, ARI, TENN, OAK, CAR have gone but lost. So even knowing what I know now, I wouldn't trade teams with anyone.

NOT a damn team, we can all wax about how great the pats are ben when Tomo Brady goes, the Pats will turn into the Jaguars

Garrett homers crack me up. As for Jerry, he is a major problem that is not going away. I would love for Jerry the owner to fire Jerry the GM but it will never happen in his lifetime so I don't get that worked up about it. I just don't spend a dime on the team in protest. As for it doesn't matter who the HC is????? Is Jerry the one making bone headed clock management decision that cost us 2 - 4 games every year???? Maybe Jerry is in Garrett's headset telling him how to mange the clock. That might make sense because someone who has been around football their entire life like Garrett should be much better at it.;)

Got to love the failed logic on this board...

If we somehow manage to have success after multiple years, it does not in any way prove our previous lack of success was needed for this future success. We could have had decent success in the past seventeen plus years.

What's decent success?

And using the logic employed in this thread, it would be completely ok for that to happen over the course of the following 20 years because they won 3 SB's in the early aughts.

Actually, they made it 5 SB's and were competitive much longer than the 90's Cowboys, so I guess they would be afforded three or four decades of mediocrity.

If that argument makes no sense to you, well, consider the premise of this thread.

Picking apart logical fallacies on this board could be a full time job.

Funny how on the one hand the super fans tell us that we need to live in the now and stop comparing ourselves to elevated standards from yesteryear.

Then they use 3 20 year old Superbowls as "evidence" of organizational strength.

Will this success you speak about be before Jerry is in the ground or turns 80?

I dont have my crystal ball for you casual fans. It may never happen, but you can go score a Seahawks jersey off ebay.
I promise that Jerry wont call begging for your support...

I don't think I'll trade with any franchise. The Cowboys have had a very rich history and many, many great players and staff. Yes few other franchises have been just as or more successful but for me, I wouldn't trade it with any other franchises.

The premise, which you avoided, is what results would trade with. Every team has their ups and downs, ours have just been more pronounced in the last 2 decades.

I don't do well with hypotheticals, so I'll say I will just stick with the Cowboys.

However, there really is only one club that I look at right now and envy how they're playing and the way they're playing... and that is Seattle. They're bullies. They take no prisoners, and they look like Dallas did in the early 90's.

I love the way they play football. I'm still not sure that the whole bunch of them isn't taking a butt load of performance enhancing drugs though. They play like it and so many of them are getting nailed for it.

I still love watching them play though.

You know NO has missed the playoffs 3 times under in 8 years. SD really?? They had a good run with HOF Tomlinson, nothing else. The Eagles have competed but won NOTHING. I'd still take the Lombardis and the playoff misses. Competetive is fighting for the Division crown and Romo and Garrett have done that every year(except the year Romo got hurt)

What does Garrett have to do with Lombardi's and since when has he been the reason Romo is here?

I'm saying I would still take the 3 Lombardi Trophies we won in the 90's and the years that have followed, than trade with another teams results for the last 22 years.
