According to all fans other than Dallas fans...each guy was just a product of the players he had around them...

Aikman was only good because he could hand it off to Emmitt and throw to Irvin.

Emmitt was only good because of his o-line and having Aikman and Irvin take the pressure off.

Irvin was only good because he had Aikman throwing the ball and Emmitt shouldering the load.

I ask, do you believe any of the Triplets was a product of the other players around him? Who gets the most and least credit when talking about these guys?

They are one of the greatest at there positions because they are the triplets. They each benefited each other like a match made in heaven. There known as the triplets, not a " rb, wr, and qb who won 3 superbowls."

I've always felt that if Emmitt had the career he had in somewhere like Chicago or Pittsburgh, he'd be unanimously voted as the best RB in NFL history.

Every argument against him being the GOAT at his position is subjective.

He's got the numbers and the rings.

IMO he belongs in the Rice stratosphere.

Also he's the only former player i still currently wear a jersey of.

Also if you put that team in one of those cities half the roster is in the hall.

There is no reason the 90's bills should have more players in the hof than the 90's Cowboys.

Every player is partially a product of the players and system around them; but that doesn't mean they are overrated. Every one of them excelled in college and pro.

Aikman. Pedestrian numbers....3 super bowls and great playoff performances save him. I honestly question his HOF status....

So emmitt and Aikman were both supposed to light it up?

If Aikman put up bigger numbers emmitt wouldn't be emmitt.

Disappointed to find that there are "fans" of the Cowboys who think Aikman was overrated... I can remember during every Monday Night Football game at some point
John Madden would turn to Pat Summerall and tell the TV audience something like this... "Pat we watched them practice this week and the ball never touched the ground...
Aikman is the most accurate QB I've ever seen."

Stats aren't everything. Give me a winner! Give me someone who will lead... Aikman had more victories than any QB in the 90's.

I suppose. But Aikman's numbers for having all of that talent around him were not great. For the "Most accurate qb of all time" he sure only had 1 or two seasons of high completion percentage.

I get so angry when people use the bogus "Offensive Line" argument against Emmitt.

Emmitt was drafted in 1990. All of his lineman: Stepnoski, Williams, Tuinei, Newton, Gogan never even sniffed a pro-bowl until Emmitt arrived on the scene.

Easily, the best of the bunch, Larry Allen didn't get drafted until 1994 and by then, Emmitt had 4 Pro Bowls, 2 All-Pro selections, 3 rushing titles, 2 Super Bowl rings, a league MVP award, and a Super Bowl MVP award.
