Both games are relatively similar in how we lost them in the 4th qtr. and both games shouldn't have come down to the end. As frustrating as yesterdays loss was.....the Washington loss stung the worse imo. Not to mention that it was a division game. We've suffered some tough losses so far this year but they really don't compare to the toughest losses in team history as some have suggested. Playoff losses are a lot tougher to swallow imo because then you're really close to the big prize. I still hate watching "the Catch".

Yesterday was worse. I have been expecting a loss to the Skins like the one we had this year for a while now. Law of averages finally caught up to us.

Yesterday, we had a chance to take another step forward. Instead we took two steps back.

Washington. By far. That 2 minute meltdown by our D not only lost the game but it literally turned the Skins season around. And like mickgreen said, it was a loss at home to our biggest rival which happens to be in our division.

people keep saying we lost to seattle in the last minute. But many of us saw it coming as we watched the offense struggle all game.

Our defense played great against a good team, but as a team we didnt dominate the game, our offense looked pretty inept for almost the entire game. In fact, without seattle muffing the punt and RW interception, we would never have been in FG range the entire second half, so it looks like their defense played well too. I never for one second thought we had this game wrapped up. We didnt really deserve to win, they practically gave the game away but we couldnt take it.

Washington. You knew any team had a chance in that Seattle game to come back. Nevermind it was the #1 NFL offense. Seattle had also had some success passing. Washington had been shut out and came out of nowhere with Brunell looking like Elway and scored 2 touchdowns in about 3 minutes. Shock and awe is how I felt after the Skins loss. The Seattle game hurt but I wasn't completely surprised. The defensive collapses against teams like the Giants and Skins had already prepared me for what could happen. The most shocking thing was Bledsoe throwing that interception. What a bumb he was yesterday.

Washinton because it was a home game and we had a 13 point lead.

Losing to Seattle in Seattle, in the rain, is understandable. Plus, we only had a 7 point lead.

Washington.

Not only are they a division foe, and we don't need to lose those games, they beat us on TWO long balls.

How does that happen?

You shouldn't let a team score two touchdowns on the very same plays.

Second, it was a 13-0 game whereas this was a 10-3 game.
If Cortez makes the 29-yarder, it's 13-3 and the Seahawks have to score two touchdowns. We wouldn't even have had to throw that now famous interception because we could have just run the clock down.

Washington. The skins are not as good as the Seahawks.

Washington by far. The Cowboys really didn't deserve to win yesterday. It was all around poor play, coupled with injuries, bad (conservative) coaching, poor QB play. Sadly, this is what we can expect if Drew has no protection from the line.

Shock and awe is exactly what I felt after the Washington game and no way did I get that feeling yesterday. We didn't play well enough to win offensively and really didn't necessarily deserve to lose the game. These tough losses will strengthen the team in the long run.

Both losses are of the same ilk. But Washington being the supposed worst team in our division and dropping that game at home as opposed to dropping this non divisional game on the road definitely makes the Washington game worse. And you can't say the feeling after this game was anywhere near the feeling after the Washington game.

Very similar. Both games we played for the fieldgoal when a TD would have sealed the game. Did the same thing in the Giants game.

Play to lose....and eventually, you lose.

I would say the Commanders was worse.

I don't hate Seattle.
