I need to see the game Monday to see how Petitti plays. I did not get to see the game against the Cards. But I guess Petitti did not play that much there either

What I saw, Petitti looked pretty bad, IMO.
He was out of position and running around looking lost often.

I understand he is a rook and trying a new position though so I am not knocking him. Just saying what I observed.

Pretty much how the RG, C, LG, and LT looked that game. Either way, 1 game is not enough to base a decision off of. Especially considering he was playing hurt.

I think at this moment, going with Petitti is the worst of the 3 evils.
Not to say down the road that he won't be the best option.
But as it stands now I'm afraid hearing that he is the lead option.

I would take Petitti. This isn't a SB contender. Not by a long shot. Let's see if we can fix this hole on our team through youth and not spending another $2-$3 mill per year on another 30-year old geezer.

If 30 is a geezer what does that make CBZ? :laugh1:

If Henson was our starting QB, then I would start Pettiti, but since Bledsoe needs a solid OL in front of him, I say sign Gragg, let him start at least half the season and slowly bring Rob along. :trophy: :iggles: :suxiggle: :disseags:

I say go with Pettiti and see who shakes loose later,Parcells SHOULD be able to scheme to help one weakspot while we develop some young talent.

Gragg ,while good, does not thrill me.

The things that Buffalo BIlls fan siad keep echoing in my head. With Bledsoe at QB, the offensive line suddenly got really bad.

We HAVE to sign someone with experience. Pettiti is nnowhere near ready, Tucker is a waste of skin and if he does get the nod, what do we do when/if HE gets hurt.

I don't think there is much of a choice here, we have to bring someone in.

Scary situation.

I completely agree. Wanting and wishing Petitti to succeed is one thing. To pin your hopes that he will be the answer we have all be waiting for this year is another.

I don't trust Tucker and Petitti is hurt and a rookie. Isn't a problem like this why we saved salary cap space in the first place?

This "let's wait and see what we got here" aproach first, bit us in the *** last year at the CB position, I'd like to avoid this same mistake 2 years in a row.

I thought this BEFORE Rogers went down and brought it up several times.

IS there really a choice here, we need to bring someone in and we have the $ to do same.

Sarge if we were one OT from the SB I would say yes.

I have to think BP is saving the Allen to T deal till after this game. Otherwise, if he's going into a season with Tucker and a rookie who might be solid in a year or so, we're gonna be hurt'n. Bledsoe is 33, though he is a tough guy, age will catch up.
