I voted for Nacho Libre. I'm not sure if anyone else considers it a blockbuster, but I want to watch it.

Yup, a real film connoisseur I am. :D

Jack Black cracks me up in all his movies. Those trailers look hilarious.

"Would you like to share some toast, sister?" "These are my recreational clothes." :lmao2:

X-Men, Cars and Pirates

I would have said the trade center one until I saw who was producing it.

pirates
X-Men

and although I have no clue what the new M Night movie is about yet, at least he seems to be some what original with his movies compared to the rehashed old movies or old tv shows made into movies that is saturating hollywood these days.

We need Quenton T to make another movie soon.

X-Men 3

Miami Vice -

Saw MI-3... Not real impressed. 1 & 2 were much better.

Saw the first Pirates of the Caribbean. Not normally my kinda movie, but I liked it. Not sure I'll go see the 2nd Pirates movie.

MI3 must be really bad if 2 was better because 2 blew chunkage

Aw, c'mon there Calico, if you've lived through Police Academy, Rambo, Scary Movie, and Crocodile Dundee sequel machines, you can find something on that list. ;)

I liked one the most. Two was ok. Three was like cotton candy or better yet, a krispy kreme donut. It's good, but it's like air and you're still hungry after eating it. Just had no real memorable scenes that I could hang my hat on.

I can't wait for the Superman movie to come out.

My list would be:

1. Superman Returns
1A. Pirates of the Caribbean
1C. Nacho Libre
1D. WTC

I'm not an X-men guy, and while I see "The Divinci Code" as a great precursor to get out there and open discussions about faith, and to inform people of the false basis that the movie is based on, I probably won't watch it.

I wouldn't watch MI 3 if someone bought me a ticket to it, same with Lady in the water and miami vice.

Cars? Nah. Maybe when I have kids.

Do any of you know when the next spiderman is due to come out?

Also, I know Batman Begins just came out last summer, are there plans for another Batman? It was quite good in my opinion.

Batman Begins was my Favorite super hero movie by quite a bit and I hope they do make another....

I liked the first Spiderman and the 2nd was OK but not as good as the first in my opinion

I really liked that movie too, but I don't know how they'll make another one. I think it left off at around the time the first one begins with the Joker. I guess they could just throw out chronology.

I'm psyched for the new Superman movie and I will definitely see X-Men 3. Yeah, I'm a superhero genre junkie, when is it exactly that I'm supposed to grow up? :)

you make a good point.

I saw MI3 and it was alright. The ending sucked and Hoffman was underused.

I have no interest in Superman...possibly X-men 3, but I did not see the 2nd one.

I laugh my *** off at the World Trade Center trailer because I can't stand Cage and he looks and acts horribly in the preview.

Nacho Libre looks like a rental...I am a HUGE Jack Black fan, but only a few parts of the preview make me laugh and they are the typical Black facial expressions and gestures.

I am interested in Lady in The Water, but after the disaster that was The Village, I don't know what to expect from M. Night.

I thought The Da Vinci code was the one of the worst books I have ever read, so that basically kills the movie for me.

Pirates might be fun, but it looks like a rental for me unless I tag along with a group already going.

The only movie I am really looking forward to the rest of this year is Casino Royale, and I don't know how that will pan out.

Last summer was great with Batman Begins...too bad the 2nd is not due until 2008...
