My only real hate for the Giants (besindes being in the NFCE) is Brandon Jacobs.

Yes, I'm hating Crayton almost as much. I don't have him just for talking all kinds of smack. I hate him for talking all kinds of smack and doing it without the ability to back it up. IQ has to be under 100, probably quite a bit lower than that.

I am in the minority, but I do not have much hate and vitriol to throw Brandon Jacob's way.

He has shown that he is somewhat immature when he throws footballs at Play Clock but worst things have happened on the Gridiron.

The guy flat out plays with passion and doesn't hope to force his will on others, he demands it. He is literally a giant sized version of Marion Barber III and if you observed him last night, he would violently collide with defenders, help them up and then proceed to let them know that is going to be a long night if indeed they were intent on tackling him.

I wish we had a guy as intense as him or Michael Strahan on the defensive side of the ball.

Man, that's a tough one. I'll have a bad taste in my mouth no matter who wins.

IF I watch it, I guess I will be rooting for whoever is trailing at the time.

Well, they could both lose by a meteor smashing into the playing field during the first quarter... :p:

It is hard for me to cheer for the G-man, but I will because I hate Brady. Green Bay was the better team; however, penalites and bad moves killed the chances to win. If Eli can lead a team to the Super Bowl, then the Cowboys' chance has increased. The Giants played as a team who didn't make many mistakes, so take note Pack and Cowboys since the teams have QBs better than Eli, who has had four years of starting to be seasoned.

Won't be rooting for any team in particular.

There aren't any particular players on either of the teams that I especially like and neither team inspire any pleasure in watching.

So, I'll be watching as a disinterested football fan and I'll be enjoying all the drinks and food I can consume at whatever super bowl party I go to.

The difference between Barber and Jacobs are night and day.

Jacobs talks smack Barber says nothing and lets his play do the talking.

Barber gets it done on the field, Jacobs mouth is the only thing getting anything done from him on and off the field.

Jacobs 3.1 yard per carry last night was impressive. I mean how many backs can rush 21 times for 67 yards... :lmao2: :lmao:

Those are Julius Jones type numbers!

I've been rooting against the Pats all year, really for about 5 years, maybe if I root for them they'll lose, since everybody I root for seems to lose nowadays!;)
You too. I have been 2-8 in the playoffs so far

2-2 in Wildcard Round
0-4 in Divisional Round
0-2 in Confrence Championships

Pats. I live in New York and miight die of shame and rage if I gotta listen to Giants and Eli crap all off season. At this point if the Pats are gonna make history, it might as well be against the team I hate the second most.

Wow....I'm assuming you are merely referring to their season record because I thought the Giants were clearly the superior team on the field yesterday, all 4 quarters. The Packers were lucky to score their first TD on a broken coverage. The Giants imposed their will on the Packers, stopping the run and running the football.

I think it would have been unfortunate if the Packers had won when they were clearly outplayed the entire game.

Bradon Jacobs is over-rated. He scores his TDs after everybdy else does the work for him. If you notice, it was Bradshaw that was moving the chains and the Giants have clearly stepped up their game ever since he was inserted into the game. Not only Bradshaw, but Boss as well.

You make it sound like your talking about the pats/chargers game. The score was 20 to 20, Giants won on a fg in OT. They were closely matched, let's not make it sound like the Giants just marched up and down all game.

As much as I hate The Giants, There is no team I hate more than the Pats. Trust me y'all don't want the pats to win, all we're gonna hear is about how this is the greatest team of all-time. I rather hear about how great Eli is and him completely flop next season than to hear about how great the '07 Belicheats are.
I very much agree with this statement. If Pats win, we will never hear the end of it. They will be shoved down our throats more than the '72 Dolphins are now when teams try to go for an undefeated season in the future.

This Super Bowl is going to suck - but I'm a football fan and I guess I'll have to root for my football squares. As long as I win some $$$, I could careless who wins.

I'm sure FOX and the NFL would have preferred a Cowboy/Patriot or Packer/Patriot showdown.

That can about sum it up for every fan who is not a Patriots or Giants fan. Getting real drunk and enjoying the company of the people you are with is the only way to stomach watching this game.

For me it will be like watching a picturesque foreign movie without subtitles. I'll just enjoy the pretty pictures and not give a d*mn what the actual plot is about. Hey, wait a minute. Isn't this the same way men watch XXX-rated movies? :p:

Exactly... The Giants looked like the better team right away. If Driver weren't so fast, the Packers might not have gotten as many points as they did.

Something about the Giants makes them appear very generic and unimpressive, but they're good.

Rooting for the Pats to lose. While I don't like 'em the Giants ain't as bad as the Eagles or Patriots. I really hate the Pats and everything that they stand for, those classless cheaters. With that said, I doubt the Giants have a chance. :) This is one Super Bowl that I doubt I'll watch, unless the Giants somehow have the lead. The last Super Bowl I couldn't watch was San Fransisco vs. San Diago. This one *almost* feels as bad. ;) I hope the NFL will get low ratings.
