Now.(read this slowly so you don’t get confused) What I said was our defense performed better under Quinn than Eberflus. This was in response to someone comparing McCarthy’s 3 12-5 seasons (when Quinn was the DC) to Schotty’s 7-9-1 seasons. Meaning that you couldn’t compare their coaching jobs on the basis of record alone. What I did not do was make a claim that the talent levels on defense where the same nor did I compare their individual coaching abilities. Just that the defense was better in those three years, an objective fact.

So take your time: I know, it’s a struggle. But you’ll get there eventually!

Let me put a scenario to you all (a strange one I admit, but hear me out).

If all 32 teams had to release their HC and hire a new HC (but couldn't rehire their current HC), which of the 31 teams would take Shotty? I will go further, how many would even bother interviewing him?

why does a business worth billions scrape the barrel when there's zero cap impact......am I just not getting something others see?

With Jerry as GM, it's difficult to properly evaluate any HC we have, at least after just one season.
Let's hope it becomes clearer quickly.
We dont need 9.5 seasons like we had with Garrett before we make a change again.

Oh yes. I called out his incessant bait and run routine and how he didn’t seem like a leader and he proceeded to direct message me a bunch of things. So now, I just report him everytime he tags me with an insult

He did and the defense was exceptionally good at getting turnovers. Which helps out the offense a ton as well.

100 percent. Getting turnovers is also much easier when the QB has less than a few seconds to find a target. DLaw was a huge absence as well.

This teams inability to rush the passer on the edges was a big reason the defense was as bad as it was.

Then of course the LB situation.

Nobody would hire Schotty but Jerry and Stephen but I will give Schotty this. He seemed to have hired a defensive coordinator that could pass him and get credit if the Cowboys turn it around. Most coaches in Schotty’s position wouldn’t hire Parker.

Yeah it was pretty systemically bad across the board. I guess we were ok at DT, but even then the run defense could be inconsistent week to week.
